21) House Arrest

Cloud took Alyssa and Levi to William's castle, where they went to a high tower. It was the book chamber and Levi asked everyone to isolate the place for a few hours before sneaking Alyssa in.

He held the door for her and locked it behind himself. "I'm sure they'll have a map of the state or country."

They easily found it and were relieved to notice that it wasn't drastically different from America's map.

"Ella said I'd go to Whiteland, means Whiteland is the capital." She said and started looking for it on the map.

Much to their surprise Whiteland was the town of Wheatland in Wyoming.

"Whoa," Levi chuckled, "Cheyenne is very near to Wheatland. So the capital of this state is where we should head."

"That's where I'm headed anyways, Levi." She chuckled.

They started formulating a plan.

"Since you already have to go Wheatland, you say yes and go." Levi spoke. "I'll come there, cause some commotion and we'll have to run. Like legitimate."

Alyssa agreed. "Once we're out of Wheatland," she pointed her finger on the map and traced it south till Cheyenne, "we'll go to our original destination."

"Crystal did one thing right." Levi inhaled deep. "Placing us at the right location."

After detailing out their plan, they realised it's already evening.

"Sh*t!" Alyssa cursed. "Ella will go crazy."

Levi peeped outside the window. "Holy hell.."

"What?" She ran beside him and looked out.

From across the fields you could see groups of soldiers riding on horses towards the castle.

"They're here for you?" Levi asked.

"Guess so." She answered and took off to the stairs of the tower.

"Wait! Where are you going?"

"Can't be seen near you, Levi!" She called out and ran as fast as she could.

Levi looked from the window as she ran away from the tower.. her black hair flowing freely.

Suddenly, a man started ringing a bell which created a sense of panic in the local, working men. Levi decided to intervene and handle the situation.

He ran down and walked towards the gates. The matching soldiers were now in visible distance.

Alyssa had ran off in the adjacent direction, through the pine forest.

Levi waited at the door with a few more of his men as they were approached.

"Prince William." One soldier came forward on a horse and spoke.

Levi held his head high and kept a firm eye contact with him.

"Haven't you had numerous warnings of staying away from Arabella?"

Levi looked at the man with narrowed eyes. "Can't seem to care, sir."

Levi's men exchanged looks. They knew what William was saying could start a war, but no one could stop him.

"Arabella. If she is with you, hand her over to us, now, my prince." The man stated with authority.

"And if I don't?"
