Levi kicked his legs in an attempt to break free. The man laughed right at his face.

"From a leader, I'd have expected more."

Levi gripped his wrists tight and tried to push him away but in vain. He realised that the man was more stronger than him.

His father had once told him that brain is more powerful than brawn. As he recalled the wisdoms he had inherited from his father, Levi formulated a quick plan.

He stopped fighting and it saved his energy and breath. He rolled his eyes close and played unconscious. The man moved back and brought his saw towards Levi.

"Should I save him for you, Miss?" He asked looking over at Alyssa.

At being talked to, she looked up and realised that it was real. His eyes were closed and a saw was at his throat. She moved.

Her instincts shot up and were clear enough on this emergency. Don't harm him.

Even as a soldier, she wanted him. For her malicious desires, but never wanted him killed.

She lifted herself up as an act to prevent the atrocity but the man, ecstatic at her response which he mistook as her wanting to kill Levi, laughed loudly.

"Even weakened down to death, she's responsive towards your death, Cahill." He taunted and threw him at her feet.

Limply, Levi let himself fall down. When Alyssa made no move, the man asked her what was wrong. All she did was turn away and groan in anger. The anger was the result of her feeling misunderstood and incapable of doing what she wanted.

The man marched up to Levi and bent down to grab his shirt from behind and hold him up. Just as he did so, Levi sprang up and punched him straight in the nose.

Taken by surprise and pain, the man yelled and backed away.

Levi immediately dived to secure his gun from the ground but the man pulled his legs, making him fall face flat on the ground.

Alyssa yet again tried to twist her hands and break the chains.

Robb, on his way back down, heard the physical hits being thrown and started to run. But instead, collided with another man's back.

The soldier, who was also on his way to the dungeon, turned around and Robb noticed the ruby on his ring. His eyes widened and in a quick motion he ducked down to dodge the man's knife.

Robb grabbed his feet and pulled. The man fell down and Robb stabbed his chest.

Back in the dungeon, Levi was trying to keep up but the man was insanely fast and wasn't letting Levi have time to attack. Levi kept dodging him and found himself cornered pretty soon.

The gun was still at Alyssa's feet.

Breathing shakily, Levi felt his back hit the wall. He couldn't possibly think of a way out. The man was bulkier than him.

Alyssa looked over her shoulder and through the narrow slits of her eyes saw Levi pointing at her feet. She looked down and saw the gun.

Everything felt like slow motion as she tapped it with her foot. Levi bunked down and the man's fist hit the wall. With another hand, he hit Levi roughly and he fell to his side as an muffled cry escaped his lips.

Alyssa weakly kicked the gun at his side again. But her will wasn't strong enough to push it with enough force.

Just then, a hand landed on the gate with a ruby ring on and Robb's figure emerged at the door.
