"If life can remove someone you never dreamed of losing, it can replace them with someone you never dreamt of having."

Levi looked around. He tapped Ruby's shoulder, who was standing just beside him talking to her father.
"Where's Alyssa?" He asked.
Ruby looked around as well. "She was with you.." Her eyebrows furrowed.
"Yes but then this woman came and she went somewhere with her. Said she was a dear friend of John's."
Realization stuck her face. "Oh. Must be Lily. I can't see her anywhere either. Lily's very fond of Alyssa."
"Why haven't they returned yet? Lisa didn't exactly give a happy speech just a while ago."
"Um, why don't you go see outside? I'll check the other halls."
"Sure."
Levi went outside to see Alyssa sitting alone on the steps. Her face was hidden on her knees and she wasn't moving at all.
"Hey." He walked over and sat down beside her. "What's wrong?"
She brought her head back up, her eyes were reddish and teary when she looked at him.
"Lisa?"
She slightly shook her head. "I'm aces." She mumbled and placed her head on his chest. "Everything is good."
He frowned and wrapped his arms around her. "Did that lady say something to you?"
Alyssa laid her hand on his chest as well. "Nothing. Let's just go home. We're done here."
Levi noticed she was upset about something so he simply agreed. They all went home and had dinner.
John and Bella talked to Levi. He told them everything about himself and John even asked about Richard. The tension around them slowly disappeared with each conversation.
But no one noticed Alyssa was exceptionally quiet.

The next morning in London, Robb woke up to hundreds of messages in his phone. All from his friends and professors at college asking if he was alright and that they were sorry for his loss.
Robb showered and got dressed. He went down to find Ian and Victoria already on the table having breakfast.
"Good morning, Robb. Join us." Victoria said.
"Where's dad?" He asked as he brought a plate for himself.
"He had to go early today." Ian said as he sipped on his orange juice. "I'm to leave soon as well. What are your plans?"
"Thinking about going back to college. I've missed enough."
"Are you sure you're ready?" Victoria asked. "You can stay here however long you want."
"No, mum. I'll have to go back one day or another."
"You're leaving?" Crystal walked down the staircase. "When?"
"Um, probably tomorrow."
"Oh. Okay."
"Would you like some toast, Crystal?" Ian asked.
"No, I'm not hungry. Thank you."
"But you should eat something," he insisted, "breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Please, join in."
Robb didn't seem to care that much. He just played with his food on the plate. Victoria glanced at both of her sons and then Crystal. She narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything.
