That night

Levi and Alyssa were sitting outside in the moonlight, carving out more bullets.

"..and then he shot the woman." Levi completed the story of when him and Robb went to hunt earlier that day.

Alyssa chuckled. "A day ago we were running for our life."

"Now we're going out and hunting them."

Alyssa smiled. "Feels powerful."

"It is. I was tired of running."

"So even you agree now that we do need Robb with us for now."

Levi didn't reply.

....

Robb was sitting in front of his laptop with his head in his hands, waiting as various graphs and radars worked on the screen.

His top priority was finding his older brother.

He rubbed his eyes and stared at the screen.

Searching...

Inhaling deeply, Robb pulled out his phone. He swiped through the pictures and came across an old one.

It was a family picture. Ian was ten and Robb was six, holding Victoria's hand and leaning on her, as she sweetly smiled at the camera.

"I'll be back soon, mum." He whispered.

He read some of his old messages to which he hadn't replied.

Mum : Talk to me, Robb.

David Lane : When will you arrive? Victoria is worried for you.

Dad : Call me back, Robb. This is serious.

Teresa : You really should submit the assignment tomorrow. Langford won't excuse you again.

Me : I have to be somewhere, Tess. I'll call you when I'm back.

Teresa : What? Where are you going?

Teresa : Robb?

Teresa : Hey, pick up the phone!

He flipped the phone shut and leaned back into the chair, pressing the phone on his chin as his eyes focused on the map being scanned on the screen.

But his mind was elsewhere..

A guard ran up to the big, black iron gates and pushed them open. Three cars drove inside, from the path made amidst the green lawn towards the entrance of the bungalow.

A man waiting at the door turned to another and said, "Master has arrived. Deliver the message."

The second man nodded and immediately ran into the house.

The driver from the middle car got out and opened the back door.

Robb climbed out and nodded. "Thank you."

The man at the door walked forward and shook Robb's hand. "Welcome home, Robb. It's been a long time."

Robb's eyes roamed around the place. He felt nostalgic, looking at the lawn he grew up playing in.
