"Feelings never do make sense. They get you all confused. Then they drive you around for hours before they drop you right back where you started."

"Where did they take her?" Levi frantically asked as he collected his stuff from his room.
"I don't know. But their side of the fight has stopped. There's no resistance." The Angel replied from the door, her eyes following Levi as he walked across the room.
"Resistance to what?"
"To me being here. I think I can fully break you out of the memory spell."
Levi paused. "And the whole Earth-door-shut one?"
"It's still closed. But at least you'll be back to a normal day."
"Of course, they're not fighting back. They have what they want!" He yelled.
"I've spoken to Crystal. She's trying to track her as we speak."
"Well then what are we waiting for? Take me back! Away from this.. stupid beach." He grunted and threw down the towel in his hand on the floor in anger.
....
Tucson, Arizona
"Alright," Levi sighed and reached out back to get a hold of the laptop, "haven't used this baby since Lawrence."
"Why?" The Angel asked from the passenger seat.
They were in the car, exactly where Crystal had appeared, in front of the motel where Robb and Rachel left.
"Oh, Lawrence was a nightmare. One bad hunt and we almost got ourselves killed." He said and as he quickly typed on the computer.
"So what are you doing right now?" She leaned over to see the thermal maps on the screen.
"I'm trying to see where the most soldiers are accumulated. Probably have Lisa there."
The girl frowned.
"It's okay, I don't expect you to understand technology immediately." Levi waved his hand dismissively.
"Um.. okay.. but then what? Even if you use this spell to track her."
"It's not a spell.. but anyways, I'll go there and break her out." He shrugged.
"They probably have the place heavily warded. Angels can't accompany you and going there alone is too risky."
"I've taken down more than a dozen nests in the past week. I can handle this."
"But you had Alyssa with you."
"What other way do I have? I can't just not go to help her."
"You should ask Robb Lassiter. He has advanced knowledge and skills."
Levi chuckled and shook his head. "No way, he already has been MIA for more than a day and he has clearly said that we don't contact him. Neither do I want to."
"You realise I can't let you put yourself in obvious danger. I am your Guardian Angel, my sole job is to keep you safe."
"And that's what got her abducted in the first place." He glared at her. "You left her to help me. I was in a better state than her!"
"Levi, I-"
"I've let her almost die once, okay? I won't do it again. She's with me, she gave me a second chance, trusted me again and that means I am responsible for her. Now either help me, or shut up and let me do it myself."
