Alyssa removed her gaze from the ceiling and looked Levi. He was sitting on the bed with his back at her. She rolled herself to her side and extended her hand to grab his arm.
"Hey."
He looked over his shoulder to see her lying on the bed.
"Did I say something that upsetting?" She raised her eyebrow.
"You threatened to kill everyone I know while I was kissing you. Do the math." He replied.
She chuckled and twirled a hair strand on her finger. "I just meant that don't play tricks that might have bad consequences."
"I don't want to be turned." Levi said and looked in her eyes with intense emotion. "I want this all over."
"You want the pain to be over." She said and sat up. "So did I, and it did get over, Levi. It's not there anymore. You can have the same peace."
"You call all this peace? It's a mess."
She got out of bed, walked over to his side and stood between his legs. Slowly dropping her body down and getting at his eye level, she said, "not from where I am. Your problem is that you're trying to find a problem. Stop that, see the bright side. Join the bright side."
"Why are you trying persuade me? Why not just do it, you don't need my permission. It may even be the most easiest task for you." He looked down and she leaned in to rest her forehead on his.
"It is. But a fighter who fights willingly is more loyal."
He pulled away. "You chose this?"
She nodded. "Best decision I've ever made. I would've been still rotting in that prison otherwise. But I'm here.." she giggled. "With you."
He shook his head and got up. "No, you would've never said yes."
Alyssa looked aside in frustration as he walked away and she sat down on the floor. "Don't you see my eyes glowing golden?"
"Aradia forced you."
"Initially. Later it was me."
"Well I'm not you," he turned around, "so I won't even consider. The answer will always be no. So the only way is to force me."
"Yeah, I'm starting to get that. You lose your temper over this."
"Well then c'mon. Do what you have to." He waved his hands.
She looked at him in admiration. "You're clever."
"What?"
"You trying to see what's stopping me from turning you. Because you know I don't care about your will and I still haven't been turned."
He gritted his teeth. "Take it however you want. Just know, that I'll never say yes to becoming one of you."
Alyssa got off the floor. "You know why I took so long to come see you?" She walked closer to him.
"Because the servants were having a moment of rejoice that their Queen's beloved has returned with fresh meat?" He humored.
"Because I went to the spiritual realm. To get more and reliable knights. So that if I'm abducted again, finding me isn't as hard. You know who I was able to kill?"
Levi looked at her wide eyed.
"My Guardian Angel."
"What!?"
