"There's only one of them inside." A soldier informed the man who was wearing the ring. "From the voice I think it's Robb Lassiter."

"What about the other guy and the girl?"

"No one knows as of now."

"Well, if there's just one, I don't think grabbing Alyssa out would be a problem."

"He still seems to be armed. The place is too narrow, not many are able to go down."

The man looked at his surroundings. Tens of soldiers were scattered all over the place.

Just then, another soldier came up. "Nothing has been found in the rooms. Guess they've taken everything with them."

"Keep sending more in." The mam ordered. "And call the other special ones, I wanna discuss with them. Once the Walker is out of weapons, come and get us."

"Yes, Sir." They both said and marched away.

"Remember, Alyssa?" Robb asked. "When Levi was trapped by Aradia in his mind and he kicked you out to be with his girlfriend.. what's her name.."

"Lauren."

"Ah, yes."

"I remember, what of it?" She asked weakly. Her voice was low whenever she was speaking.

"You felt bad that he didn't give a crap about you."

Alyssa recalled that was the moment she realised she felt something for him and that was the moment she forced herself to forget it and she did it. She hadn't allowed herself that luxury.

"And I found you miserably sitting on that park bench all alone." Robb laughed. As for him, he was exaggerating the story and making her believe that's how things had gone down.

"Don't you have b-better things like.. protecting yourself?"

He showed her his gun. "I'm doing well, thank you very much."

She groaned and gave up her composure. Her body standing just by the support of the chains.

Robb continued killing the soldiers who showed up and in between trying to get Alyssa to believe that she was back.

He talked about her 'soldier days' in past tense. Consoling her that she need not feel guilty about anything. She protested that she doesn't and he simply replied that of course she doesn't, but Alyssa does and she knows it.

After some time of silence, he said, "creating a two person visual in your mind will help you to gain control. You'll acknowledge that there's a good and a bad part in you. You have to know that bad is.. well.. not acceptable or wanted. You used to believe that the darkness is fun, didn't you?"

He was sitting on the ground and scraped it with a little piece of the glass as he looked up at her.

"Robb!"

At hearing Levi's voice, Robb shot up as though his legs were made of springs, and ran over to the door.

"What the f*ck are you doing here!?" He whisper-yelled.

"They've surrounded the area, I tried to hide but instead got hauled back here." Levi panted.

"Yeah but you can't come inside, idiot!"

"I had no place else to go, all my bullets have been used."

Robb gave him a brown cloth pouch. "The rest are inside."
