"Relationships are always stronger when you are best friends first, and a couple second."

The guards opened the gates as Robb's car approached.
"What do you call them? What are they to you?" Crystal asked from the passenger seat, looking out at the huge mansion as he drove in.
"They're the guards. My father has hired them for safety purposes. But I just call them by their names, Jamie and Finn."
Crystal nodded as if she had just acquired a really crucial piece of information.
Robb chuckled a little.
"Your family has how many people?" She frowned.
"Uh, my mother, father, one sister and Ian. Why?"
She looked at him as he parked the car. "I thought so too but then why is your house so big for just six people?"
Robb realised what she meant. "Oh, for that, Crystal.." He got out of the car and helped her out. "You'll have study a few human concepts like privilege, poverty, the gap between rich and poor, basically.. I'll arrange an economics book for you. I'm sure you're a fast learner."
She eyed him wearily. "What's wrong with that?"
"Nothing. It's a good thing."
"Oh?"
"Anyways, we'll have to talk to my parents-"
"Good afternoon, Mr Lassiter." A man in his forties and light blue eyes greeted him at the door. "Who's this lovely lady with you?"
"I'm Crystal." She spoke before he could.
"Nice to meet you, Miss..?"
"I don't have a last name." Crystal smiled and the man frowned. "I beg your pardon?"
"We're in a bit of a hurry, Pete. If you'll excuse us."
"Y-Yes, master." Pete bowed his head and walked away.
"Don't talk to anyone other than my family." Robb pulled by her forearm and instructed.
"Why not?"
"Just.. they shouldn't know who you are.. or were.. just now."
"Okay.." she reluctantly agreed.
Robb took to her Steven and Victoria and explained them the situation. They had never seen an Angel's human form, they always appeared as their true ones to Walkers, but because of the spell they had to take the human form. So, Steven and Victoria were a bit surprised to see a human as an ex-Angel.
"You're welcome to stay here as long as you please, dear." Victoria said.
Crystal had never met Victoria before. The woman who despite the division and gender inequalities married the man she wanted to, not the one her tribe wanted her to.
"Thank you, that's very generous of you."
"You can choose whichever room you want. You're our honoured guest. Any way we can thank you for how you helped our sons." Steven said.
"She'll take the room in front of mine." Robb said and Crystal shrugged.
As Robb was taking her to his room, they met Renee on the way.
"Hi, who are you?" Renee asked while putting her hair into a ponytail.
"Crystal."
Renee paused. "Wait.." she looked at her older brother, who smiled and nodded.
