"Endless roads keep me from you."

As Alyssa and Levi walked off the stage, an old woman quickly got off her chair and followed them.

"Alyssa!" She called out as she couldn't run fast enough. Her white hair were nearly tied in a braid yet her brown eyes still seemed young.

Alyssa turned around and smiled. She pulled her hand out from Levi as she whispered to him before walking closer to the woman.

"She's a dear friend of dad's, I have to listen to what she has to say."

Levi never got a chance to protest.

"Hi, Mrs-"

"Again, Mrs? What was our deal, young lady?" She interrupted.

Alyssa sighed. "That we'll call each other by our first names.." She recited.

"Yes. So start again."

"Hi, Lily." Alyssa chuckled.

"Hello, Alyssa. Now I just wanted to say you were marvellous up there. Confident and authoritative-"

"But?"

"There's always a but, isn't there?" Lily smiled sadly. "I hope you don't misunderstand my motives. I'm just looking out for you."

"Of course. You've always been good to me, Lily. And I know it's a lot for you to-"

"Can we talk somewhere else? Alone?" She looked at someone behind her.

Alyssa followed her gaze and it landed on Levi. "Um, yeah. Sure."

They walked outside and sat on the stairs. "He's trying to take your throne." Lily stated and Alyssa burst out into laughter.

"You wanted to say that?"

"Well, yes, I don't find it funny."

"Lily, you don't have to worry. He's not taking my throne. There is no throne! We literally just said that on the stage, no more tribes."

"He's controlling you for your throne."

"Why would he leave his and help me leave mine if he wanted both?" She chuckled. This is ridiculous, she thought.

"You don't see it, Alyssa, he's changed. He isn't the same as the twelve year old Levi you knew and he's a mega mind, what if it's all a lie? What if in the end, it turns out a lie? Maybe he's just luring you in. Must be having some big plan."

"Lily.." Alyssa emphasised. "You're looking in too deep, my goodness. It's nothing like-"

"Of course, you don't think so. You were mind controlled by him after all. You're no judge of your mental health. You liked Robb initially, didn't he run? What if I'm saying the truth? What will you do then? There's a small chance, what will you do then, sweet girl?"

Alyssa eyes narrowed a little at her, her lips parted a bit. (*) "I trust Levi."

"Is that a look of confidence and trust or a look of cry for help and doubts?"

"There's always a chance, Lily, you take that risk and that chance in friendship and love. That's how you love, you take risks. It may be one, but I'm taking it and I'm taking it again and hoping I won't fall again because I won't go emotionless and lock everyone out because what you say can be true, but not just for him, for everyone too. And that's no way of living."

"I agree, no one must live in doubts all their life, but baby, I'm not entirely sure he is a good man. He was away for so long. Why didn't he do anything before? Why now? Maybe because he knows you're an easy target. He's a businessman, they see profit everywhere."
