Alyssa's eyes opened in an empty bus. She was back in her old clothes. Her hand immediately went to find the blade and the bark and when she found them intact, she closed her eyes in content.

"Now let's look for the moron." She whispered to herself and walked out from the bus.

"Kathryn? You've not yet changed!"

Alyssa looked to her right and saw her old high school friend. A 5'7" brunette girl in a red and black cheerleader uniform.

Alyssa's jaw dropped and she laughed. "Odette!"

"What?"

"You- you're-"

"Kathryn, hurry up. Go change. It's almost time." Odette's brown eyes narrowed down on Alyssa.

"Change into what?"

....

"Alright, girls." Alyssa shouted at her cheer group. "Warm up!"

She was now in the uniform herself and a red ribbon tied up her black hair into a ponytail. Everyone spread and started stretching, some in groups.

Alyssa reminisced about her cheerleader days as she turned towards the field to see players run out from the entrance. People sitting in the sidelines started cheering. Others strolled in to find themselves a seat.

Alyssa kept glancing at her brown jacket, lying on a chair nearby as it had the blade and the bark.

A voice on a microphone announced that the match will begin shortly.

Alyssa recalled Levi's story that his dad was picking him up from a summer football camp when they met with the fatal accident. So that meant Levi played football. This was a football match.

As thoughts processed in her mind, she turned to look at the players who were leaning in and forming a huddle.

"Show yourself, Levi, you idiot." She whispered while studying each and every player.

They all raised their hands and shouted something in unison as they spread out to take their positions.

Low and behold, Levi took the captain's.

"Come on!" Alyssa made a face and turned around to see her cheer squat, looking at her with a questionable expression.

"What?" She said before commanding. "Line up!"

The ground fell silent as all the eyes were on the captains of the teams.

Levi shook hands with him, recognising the whole situation as the championship he won in senior year of high school.

When the they took their positions, Levi gave a once over to all his teammates, spread around the field and nodded at them. Just as his eyes were looking over at everyone, they fell on her.

She waved at him and then flipped him off.

"Head cheerleader." He shook his head and then focused on the ball. "Of course she's that."

The tension was thick as Levi stared at the captain of the other team with intensity as a challenge. Silence filled the arena.

A second later, the whistle blew and he sprang into action. The crowd started screaming in excitement.

Levi kicked the ball expertly through the players, even teasing them while it, and left them behind as they tried to surround him.

He realised their strategy and passed it over to his teammate who was running along with them.
