"Life and death are one thread, the same line viewed from different sides."

"It's a just like a normal birthmark, Rach." Robb laughed as she traced her finger along the Walker mark on his wrist.

"I was so stupid that I actually believed it was a tattoo." She laid her head on his chest as they cuddled on the bed.

"Come on, it wasn't just you. Everyone believed that." He intertwined their fingers together and caressed her hair with another hand.

Rachel sighed in content and smiled. "Did you ever plan to tell me all this?"

"Yes. Not anytime soon but I wanted you to know sometime in the future."

"Did you think the future will already be here?"

"Never."

She rolled over to look at his face. "Hey," she said gently, "it's okay. I'm okay with this."

"You're dead." He stated.

"It's inevitable. Plus, you do come here often, don't you?"

"I've been here first time in three years and look what happened."

"But now I'm here as well. So you'll obviously come and visit me, won't you? It's not like this is goodbye. How many people get to say this?"

"Is this supposed to be a comfort?"

"To me it is. Robb, I just died and learned about all this insane stuff then came to know my boyfriend is a part of it and not just that, belongs to the leader family. Even after all that, I'm okay. Because I know we'll keep seeing each other."

"Well, all I came to know is my girlfriend died because of me. And I am not okay." He shook his head and looked right into her eyes.

Rachel exhaled deeply. "Robb, this isn't what-"

"I need to talk to you." Crystal appeared in the room and Rachel let out a scream as she tucked the sheets closer to herself.

"It's okay, babe. That's an Angel." Robb grabbed her arm.

Rachel's eyes widened. "Angels look like that?" She whispered.

Crystal looked down at herself. "What's wrong with my appearance?"

"N-Nothing, you're just.. too human-y." Rachel said lowly.

"Well, yes. This is my human form. My true form would be too bright for you."

"O-oh. That's.. yeah.." Rachel trailed off.

"What happened?" Robb asked.

"We need your help." Crystal said.

"We? Angels?"

Crystal smiled. "Not exactly."

....

"Oh my God, every time?!" Robb exasperated.

"You have to understand, Robb. Levi tried everything he could."

"But why me every time? How do they always get in trouble? Look at the first casualty of their misguided mission." He pointed at Rachel who was still on bed as he walked closer to Crystal.

"And there's going to another. A human spirit soldier. I know you know that's the biggest threat, Robb. Not every, but I can read some your thoughts. You want to help your sister."

"No. I want to save my brother before I meet him as a spirit too."

"And you think Alyssa would let it happen once she's over to their side?"
