"And sometimes I have kept my feelings to myself, because I could find no language to describe them in."
-Jane Austen

"Well, Alyssa. Hello again." Aradia waved.

"Again?" Levi frowned.

"I told you. I was stuck too, she came to me just like she's coming to you."

"But sadly our chat was rudely interrupted by that Angel friend of yours." Aradia sighed. "But it's okay, I've made sure those holy feathers don't come anywhere near now."

"Is this.. I don't.." Levi stuttered.

"It's not real!" Alyssa emphasised.

"Sure is.." Aradia sang. "So why don't you and I go home and talk, Levi?"

"N-No, this is-"

"-in isolation? Great." Aradia held her hand up. "Wait for your turn, Alyssa."

Aradia snapped her fingers and she disappeared with Levi. Alyssa's eyes widened and she frantically looked around, the huge field was empty.

F*cking kidding me? She thought.

....

Robb checked his watch, it had been a few hours since he had left Alyssa and he still couldn't find Ian.

"Aw, look at you."

Robb turned around, tightening the grip on his blade.

A man smirked smugly at him. "Can't find your big brother?"

Robb didn't say anything.

"He's been moved, buddy. Now if you want, I can take you to him."

....

Alyssa realised she was in Chicago, or at least the illusion of Chicago, as soon as she exited the stadium.

Contrary to how it was inside, the streets were filled with people.

She didn't understand what to do, where to look for him, how to protect herself. She immediately regretted ever agreeing to help him.

Then she formed a plan.

She randomly stopped a person walking past her. "Hi, excuse me, could you please-"

"No." The lady replied, lifelessly.

Alyssa frowned. "But I didn't even-"

"No." She repeated.

Alyssa studied the people around her. Everyone seemed dull, lifeless and robotic.

"Are you okay, ma'am?"

"No."

"Uh.. what's- what's wrong with everybody?"

"No." The woman repeated and started walking away.

Alyssa felt a little freaked out. They were all emotionless. The people were manufactured, they weren't real. It was an illusion, a spell. They had a defect in their personalities because they didn't have a soul, a spirit.

Great, she thought as she realised.

Then she started thinking of the upside of the situation, if there was any.

As she walked through, she came up one with one and then decided to test the theory.

"Hey, do you have minute?" She stopped an old man who blankly looked at her.
