Levi slowly opened the room door and peeked out.
"When's she coming back?" He asked a soldier guarding the door.
"Don't know, go inside."
"Where's she gone?"
"I said, I don't know. Go back inside and shut up." The golden eyed thirty three year old man said.
"I want fresh air. This room is too dirty."
"Open a window and clean it yourself, Cahill."
"The windows are locked. Apparently, I can sneak out from them."
The man glared at Levi. "Fine. But I'll come with you."
"Oh of course. I wouldn't miss the opportunity of your company."
"Move." He said and followed Levi out.
....
Back in Robb's head, he was listening to Alyssa talk.
"I believe some Angel must've told you about the fruit imbroglio."
"Briefly." He replied bitterly.
"They must've refused you entrance, of course. And that means you'll be ever stuck here." She smiled sympathetically.
Robb thought about Ian and the portal. But Levi and Alyssa couldn't pass through it. He wasn't sure if he saw hope in them anymore.
"You did all this to taunt me?"
"Aw, no. Of course not." She chuckled. "You're my baby brother, and I wanna help you."
"Seriously? You're the reason I need help."
"Those are secondary thoughts. Do you wanna hear it or not?"
Robb paused and eyed her.
....
Levi was walking through the corridor with a watchman behind him when suddenly a door opened and someone slammed with him.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed as his hands shot up to stable the person in front of him.
A black haired girl looked up at him with golden eyes. She inhaled in sharply as she registered who he was.
"W-What are you doing here? Why aren't you in your room!?"
Levi amusingly chuckled. "No problem, don't apologize for bumping into me."
She glared at him. "Go back or I will drag you back myself."
"Sounds like a challenge."
She took a threatening step at him. "It is."
Levi shrugged. "Try me, Cassandra."
She blinked. "You know me?"
"Heard your name while your 'shift' in guarding my door." He shrugged.
"He's not alone," the soldier behind him interrupted, "I'm here."
Cassandra sighed and stepped back from him. Looking up at him and shaking her head slightly, she said, "should've known you're not brave enough."
"Two challenges in one minute?" He looked back at she passed him.
"Goodbye, Levi. Enjoy your walk."
He watched as she walked away and scoffed lightly.
Then he looked back front. The door she had come out from was slightly open, enough for him to notice a table and the strap of their ingredients bag.
