Levi and Alyssa spent the next day in Nashville. Hunting all the nearby soldiers.

They were split up to cover more area.

Levi looked around the house he was in, carefully entering inside. Once, he found it clear, he called Alyssa.

"Hey." She picked up and put her gun down on a closed garbage bin beside her.

"I'm clear. There were five of them. All down. You?"

"Three. One of them was a friggin' seven year old." She shook her head.

"Aradia, I swear."

"I know, anyways, where do I come get you?"

Levi was now outside the house and walking in the neighborhood.

"Uh, there's a cafe here called Goodness Grab. I'll be there."

"On my way." Alyssa said and hung up.

Red Line Motel

A car pulled over in the parking lot and Levi climbed out from the passenger seat.

He looked at the building and shrugged. "Should do."

Alyssa closed the driver's door. "Yeah."

They went inside and checked in for the night.

As Levi unlocked the room door, Alyssa said, "the reception guy thought I'm a hooker."

Levi laughed and set a black bag on the table. "Look at this place and tell me if gets anyone apart from hookers."

"Disgusting."

"C'mon. Time to make our third ingredient."

Alyssa turned her back to him and peeked out through the window. "First."

Levi realised. "Oh. Yeah.. first.."

She walked over and brought out the neatly folded cloth from the bag.

"What time did Crystal say she'll come?" Levi asked.

Alyssa checked the time. "Right about.. now."

*flashback*

"Uh, there's a cafe here called Goodness Grab. I'll be there."

"On my way." Alyssa said and hung up.

Just as she turned to open the car door, she sensed someone behind her.

With a swift motion, she held her gun out at the person before her but then immediately relaxed.

"Crystal." She huffed.

"Hello, Alyssa." The Angel smiled.

"W-Why are you here? There's no soldier near this area."

"Yes. You've.. slayed them all."

She chuckled nervously and shrugged.

"I have been trying to reach out to you since long. Ever since April. She died because you asked her to stay longer than she was supposed to."

"I'm sorry, I am. But we needed that ingredient."

"Which you ended up losing."

Alyssa opened her mouth but then closed it.
