"Tragedy is the difference between what is and what could have been."

The celebrations went on all night long. As the sun rose up, slowly everyone tottered back to their rooms.
Alyssa and Justin took one room and Justin immediately fell on the bed. She covered him with sheets and sat down on the bed to make sure he was fully asleep.
Once she was confident that he was, she sneaked out of the room and went towards the sandy shores.
Making her way through the green plants, she came out to see a light blue sky with a faint orange glow. Cool breeze hit her face as she stepped out on the sand.
She saw a silhouette of a person, staring at the ocean ahead of them. Only person would be up right now..
"Hey." Alyssa said as she neared him.
Levi looked over his shoulder, up at her. "Hey, good morning." He laughed.
"Hm." She hummed and sat down beside him. Faint light making her skin glow.
"This is my favorite part of the day. Dark fades into light without even our knowledge even though we were right there as the transition happened." She smiled.
"I agree." Was all he said in a dreamy voice. "I admire this more than everything." His voice was filled with wonder.
"Thanks to the Angels. We're supposed to be running for our life but here we are.."
"Here we are." He repeated.
After a while of comfortable silence as they indulged in their own thoughts, Levi spoke, "I never really knew you could dance like that."
"I took classes. I'm almost a professional." He smiled.
"Really?" He raised his eyebrows and looked at her.
"I.. developed a strong liking in my early teens. One of the things I'm passionate about."
The word football comes into Levi's mind whenever he heard the word passion so he understood what she meant.
"You did seem like you were enjoying yourself."
She nodded. "It was a dream.. a real dream."
They sat still and sun peaked out from the clouds. The water was calling out to them.
"You still like swimming?" He asked.
"I do."
He looked at her with a small smirk. The question was silent but clear.
"Oh, hell yeah!" She laughed as they both got up and stripped down.
"Just like old times, Lisa!" Levi ran into the water and yelled as he turned around to face her.
"F*ck you, Cahill, it's Alyssa!" She flipped him off and chuckled.
He mocked her and then dove straight into the water. She followed suit.
The feeling of cold water on her skin was something she could never refuse.
....
It had gotten sunny by the time they left the water, dripping wet.
"If only you were that good twelve years ago." Levi said and shook his head.
"I was. You've gotten bad. That was such an easy win." She patted him lightly.
Without any warning, he grabbed her hand and pushed her back down on the sand.
His hair falling out and leaving droplets on her face.
"Who's gotten bad?" He challenged.
