"It's been a long time coming, but we're almost there."

Renee took Crystal out for a walk in their backyard garden.

It was a really big garden with lots of green grass and bushes and shrubs lining along the stone path.

Renee was telling Crystal about schooling system in England.

"So you'll graduate soon?" Crystal asked.

"In two months, yes."

"When did Robb graduate?"

"Three years ago. He'll graduate college next year. After that, I think he'll join father's business or maybe even go for higher studies."

"What am I supposed to do?"

"What's your age?"

"Uh.. I don't exactly remember but billions of years, maybe more."

Renee chuckled nervously. "No. If anyone asks, you're 21, just like Robb. Father will arrange your documents for you, you'll need your birth certificate, identity proofs.. all the works."

"Okay.."

"Don't worry. We'll take care of everything, it's going to be smooth."

Crystal looked at the plants. "I just feel different and it's making me sad. I've never felt this way. So disconnected to the nature, I can't feel these plants."

She gently touched them and frowned.

"That's because you're a human now and humans can't do that." Renee said softly.

"How long will it take before I can adjust into this life?"

"I have no idea but I'm sure you will. And till then, we are all here for you."

Crystal turned to look to Renee. "Thank you."

She smiled. "Not a problem. Anyways," Renee linked their arms together and started walking, "how do you feel about dying your hair? Aren't you bored with blonde?"

"Um.. you're a blonde too."

"Oh, sweetheart, far from it." Renee laughed. "I've dyed them. I'm naturally a redhead."

"Oh. Well, I think I'll first try to.. I mean, I think I'll.. experiment with myself later, uh, when I'm.. more.."

"Comfortable with myself?"

"..yes."

"Understandable. But now you know who to go to for matters like these."

"Yes, of course. I understand that. Seems like an important human thing to do."

"Oh, it is." Renee chuckled.

"Who taught you all this? Your hair looks very nice."

"Thanks, I just learned it from my stylist, Jennifer. You'll love her."

"So it's normal to have a person working for just your hair?"

"Uh.. I.. think so."

"I sense uncertainty."

"I do that too."

"So it's not normal?"

"Here it is."

"Why's here different?"

"Remind me to arrange an economics book for you later."

"Robb said the same."
