"Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero."

The sun peeked out from the clouds as if having second thoughts about rising that day.

Alyssa was staring intently at it from the window which she had rolled down. The breeze played with long black hair and the sunlight fell straight in her golden sparkling eyes.

"We're almost there." Levi said.

"Boise? Why are you taking me to Robb?" She asked without looking back at him.

"How'd you know?"

"Read signs along the way." Then she looked back at him and removed a few strands of hair from her face. "Why there?"

"He's not called, neither picking him. Plus, he went to get something you and I both need."

"Oh c'mon, Levi. You know I don't need that."

"You will. When you're back to yourself."

"How exactly do you plan to do that holy work?"

"Oh, I don't wish to enlighten you just yet." He smiled sweetly at her.

"All this is so.. futile!" She exclaimed and then slowly grumbled. "If only you'd leave this goody two shoes act and come with me.."

"Why are you so hell bent on that? What would you get if I come, master's praise?"

"She's not my master-"

"She is, Alyssa. She has enslaved you whether you see it or not."

"You're the one who doesn't see it and you can. Why don't you see for yourself?"

"Because I'm not going to destroy anything."

"Levi. I want you to come. Teamwork, remember? We kicked a** as partners! Let's do it again."

He snorted. "To think that once I have persuade you to even talk properly to me, let alone work with me."

She leaned back. "I'm a new person. Way cooler."

Levi didn't reply. He pulled up at a gas station and pointed a finger at her. "Don't move."

She lifted her hands to show him the cuffs and then dropped them back down to her lap.

As he got out, Alyssa smiled slightly and looked away. She fixed her gaze at a distance and tried to concentrate.

Her vision moved ahead on the street at a very high speed. Her visions took turns on the street. She could see things far away in the other side of the town.

Soon she sensed a nest and her mental self reached at the place. But when she tried to call them to tell her whereabouts, she failed.

A frown appeared on her face in the car. She could see three soldiers talking about something, she couldn't hear them but and they couldn't hear her.

She blinked and the connection broke. She stomped her feet in frustration and let out a shaky breath. "Damn it." She tugged at the cuffs.

Just then, Levi came back inside. "You said something?"

"Yes, let these off."

His gaze went down at her wrists and he scoffed. "No."

He looked back and reversed the car, casually turning the wheel with the palm of his right hand, he sped away from the station.

They had driven just two blocks away when suddenly a truck came out from a turn in full speed and crashed right at the driver's side.

Before Levi could register what had happened, the impact threw him off and he crashed out of the windscreen and landed outside the car on the pavement.
