"What do you mean, he's gone?" Bill shrieked.

"I-I will look for him immediately. Bring everyone here. The more I have, the better." Rita replied.

"Alright." Bill said and hung up. He dialled someone else and spoke when they picked up. "Roy? It's Bill. I need you to take your pals and head to Rita. She has a situation. Also, spread the word. Take as many as you can."

Alyssa was reading articles on the computer when Levi asked from the driver's seat.

"What's the time?"

"Nine."

"I've drove eleven hours. Your turn."

"I'll take over at noon." She replied disinterestedly.

"You think I'll drive three more hours?" He laughed.

"I'm working.." She frowned, as if disturbed by having to reply him constantly.

Levi pulled over. "Your turn, Lisa."

She groaned and shut the laptop. "Fine, then read about witches and where to find their bones."

"I'm okay with it."

Alyssa looked around as she switched places. "Wow, I hadn't realised we were already entering Nebraska."

Levi settled down in the passenger seat and moved the laptop on his lap, while which he clicked on a minimised tab by mistake.

Then his eyes widened.

"You hadn't realised one more thing."

"What?"

He turned the screen towards her. "The group in Salt Lake City? Gone. There seems to be a reunion in Lawrence, Kansas."

"What the hell?" Alyssa glanced at the screen before averting her gaze back on the road.

"So what, are we changing our destination?"

"Looks like." Alyssa shrugged.

"Okay, well in that case.. we should turn from Falls City towards Kansas border."

Alyssa smirked. "I gotta drive only two hours, not eleven."

"Good for you." Levi mocked.

Lawrence, Kansas

11AM

Alyssa stopped the car and looked at Levi. He waited a while, staring at the screen and then looked around.

He pointed at the small building beside a well.

Alyssa grabbed a bag from the backseat and brought out two knifes that they had carved the symbols onto. She gave one to Levi, and placed a gun her behind her back in a waistband.

"What's the plan?" Levi whispered.

"Don't die."

Levi pressed his lips in a thin line and got out of the car.

When they reached the entrance, Levi noticed a back door and with his gun, gestured Alyssa to go through the back.

Without a word or hesitation, she changed her path.

Now Levi was alone as he pressed his back to the wall and held his gun up.

"He wouldn't have gone too far. He's on foot."
