Chapter 18: Sweet

       "Here is your toasted bread." Tanner to Cora na may hinuhugasan sa lababo.

        "Thank you. Just put it here." Cora is referring sa bulsa ng suot nyang jamper na onesie. Nasinunod naman ng binata.

       "Its kinda hot." Tanner.

       "Its okay. Makapal naman itong jamper eh." Cora na itinuloy ang paghuhugas ng kaldero.

        They got back from Davao. At sermon ang inabot nila sa mga manager at agency nila dahil sa mga napending nilang photo shoot and other works. Pero okay na naman dahil they are able to do it naman the other day pagkabalik nila.

       Cora heard from Laura about Edward and Kisses situation ng dumalaw sya sa mga ito para ibigay ang pasalubong nya. Kaya naman she called the bagets to come in her condo. At siyempre hindi mawawala si Tanner dahil involved ang pinsan nito na si Kisses.

      "Do you think their okay now?" Pabulong na tanong ni Cora kay Tanner.

      "I think so. Baby girl is smilling now. Unlike before we came here. She seems so sad and lifeless." Tanner na nakamasid sa mga bagets na nasa sala habang ngumangata ng toast bread with butter.

     "I dont like that girl heather. Im glad Kisses and Edward is okay now." Nakangiting sabi ni Cora while looking in her living room too.

      "Im glad too. Thanks to you. Instead of resting you invite them to fix the problem." Tanner.

       "It's tiring actually. But atleast i was able to see that kind of Kisses smile." Contented na sabi ni Cora.

       "Yeah. She's happy now. Thanks to you." Nakangiting humarap si Tanner sa dalaga sabay kagat sa toast bread.

      "Hey! Ang takaw mo naman. Katatapos lang natin kumaen ah. Kumakaen ka na naman?" Cora.

       "It's okay. We can work out together naman." Tanner.

       "Haha! It's really cute when you speak tagalog. Kahit onti lang at slang pa." Cora.

       "Are you making fun of me? I just cancelled an appointment to bring Kisses here because you ask me to." Animo nagtatampong sabi ni Tanner.

      "Hey! I didn't told you to cancel your appointment. And beside you agreed on my plan remember? Tsaka para naman to sa mga pinsan natin noh. Ang pabebe mo." Cora.

      "Haha. Im not pabebe. You should teach me more tagalog." Tanner.

      "Okay. Some other time i guess. Haist! Kaen ka ng kaen! Nahahawa tuloy ako sayo." Reklamo ni Cora sa binata dahil hindi nya maiwasang kumaen rin.

      "I told you. You dont have to worry because we can go to the gym together." Tanner.

     "Hmmm... Pwede rin. Marameng gwapo sa gym di ba?" Cora said while munching her toast bread.

      "On the second thought, i guess we should work out at home." Bawi ni Tanner sa suggestion nya a while ago.

      "Bakit naman? Mas enjoy sa gym right? Pwede tayong mag-sight seeing habang nagwowork out. Masaya yon!" Jolly na sabi ni Cora na ikinasalubong naman ng kilay ni Tanner.

     "No. Its more convinient if we do our work out at home. We are able to save time and money." Tanner insist.

      "Ganun? But you are the one who suggested the gym." Maang na sabi ni Cora.

       "And im taking it back now." Tanner.

      "Fine. Ang labo mo." Naiiling nalang na sabi ni Cora. "Did your Mom likes the pasalubong?" Naalala nitong itanong sa binata.
