*Lucy's POV*

"Natsuuuu," I sang his name as I skipped around him in a circle, probably looking like a child.

"What is it, baby?" He seemed amused by my act.

"Christmas is just a week away! We are getting ready to do our secret Santa name drawing!" I grabbed onto his arm and started pulling him towards the dinning hall where everyone was waiting.

He suddenly countered, pulling me back so I spun into his chest, an arm coming around and locking me in his embrace. "Mm, but I just want to spend Christmas with you."

"Nastu, we've been planning this for months! Dragon Season or not, this is going to happen." He began pouting, not satisfied. "Fine, we can have our own little Christmas after the party, just us two. We can get each other gifts for that."

The corners of his lips twitched, obviously trying not to smile. "Fine, but that better not be all that I will be getting."

"Shush, the others can hear you," I smacked his arm. He grinned and let me lead him to the dinning hall.

"Took you long enough," Gray rolled his eyes as he watched us stride in.

"So sorry," I rolled my eyes right back.

"That's enough," Mira waved her hands at us. "It's time to go around and draw names. Take one of the slips of paper and write your name on it. Once you are done, Juvia has volunteered her hat for our basket."

"I so did not!" Juvia protested, hugging her hands defensively around her hat. Mira timidly turned towards her, a forced smile on her face.

"Of course you did. Now please, put it in the middle."

Juvia yipped, but didn't hesitate chucking her hat as commanded. Everyone laughed as the slips of paper and pencils were passed around. Excitement shot through me as I quickly scribbled my name down, folded the slip, and threw it into the hat. Nastu followed behind and squeezed my knee, he probably saw me shaking.

"Ok, I'll go first I guess," Mira took the hat and ruffled through it, pulling out a slip. She opened it, read the name and smiled, passing the hat to Cana beside her. The hat continued to go around until it got to Natsu. He pulled out his slip and sighed. He stuffed it in his pocket and began to hand the hat to me.

"I'll go next," Happy swooped in between us and scooped up the hat.

"O-oh. Ok," I mumbled, biting my tongue, my excitement deflating the tiniest bit. He reached his paw into the blue abyss, grabbed a paper and dropped the hat in my lap. His snicker at the name didn't put me anymore at ease.

"Lucy, it's your turn," Natsu's voice came silky and smooth.

That's right! I squealed and plunged my hand into the pit of papers, pulling out the slip that felt the best in my finger tips. I passed Juvia's hat to Erza and opened my paper.

My jaw instantly dropped and my eyes widened in disbelief.

Gajeel was written in chicken scratch.

"Of course, out of everyone I get you," I whispered to myself, chewing on the inside of my cheek. I clasped the little paper in my fist. What are you supposed to get a metal junkie for Christmas? Metal seems like something he just eats.. Is there a 'special occasion' or 'unique' metal he would want?

"Lucy?" Natsu asked, towering over me. I looked around and realized I was the only one still sitting, everyone else had dispersed.

"Sorry, I wasn't expecting to pick this name."

"Don't worry about it, babe. I didn't pick a good one either." I sighed and held my arms up to him. He bent down and picked me up, straddling my legs around his waist.

"Hey, don't leave me out of this," Happy landed with a thump on top of my head, giving me an instant headache. I swallowed my words, deciding it was better to keep them to myself.

"Come on, Happy. That wasn't cool," Natsu said with a hint of irritation in his voice.

"It was just a joke," he giggled, hopping down and walking beside him. I rested my head on Natsu's shoulder, nestling my forehead into his neck.

I wonder why Happy is acting like this..
