"Glad you guys could finally join us," Makarov kept a close eye on me.
"So sorry to keep you waiting, I genially am. So uhm, can you tell me if I'm going to jail or not already?" I directed my question towards the King.
"Well, uh" he started stuttering, not expecting me to be so forward. "You put all of us in danger and you broke many laws. Yes, you will be going to one of the high security cells."
I looked down, grinning. "I'm sorry, your highness. But I disagree. If it weren't for me you would all be dead now, I deserve better treatment than this."
"Excuse me?" Sweat dripped from his brow, he was shaking in his seat.
"Lucy.." Makarov was livid. Sounding just like his grandson, he tried to contain his anger,"Princess, your highness. You should go before this gets bad."
I cracked my knuckles,"is that a threat?"
"Why don't you tell me? Gildarts, escort the royal family some where safe please."
"No can do, Makarov," he stepped next to me. "This poor girl has been through enough already. Lay a finger on her and you'll have to take it up with me."
His mouth hung open as he stared in disbelief. "You really are going to go against the fairy tail guild? You'll be thrown in prison right along side this pain and I will have your fairy tail emblem removed. Is she really worth all of that?"
"I'm not a pain. And I would watch your mouth, you could be saying your last words, old man." I put emphasis on the old man part, watching him becoming more angry.
"Don't ever call me that, it wasn't meant to be used by the likes of you."
The doors suddenly flung open behind us and a few wizards barged in. I quickly looked over and saw the princess and King had escaped while Makarov distracted us.
"Gildarts, this is your last chance to choose who you are fighting with," Makarov joined his 'children'. It was pretty much all the same people from before: Laxus, Mira, Erza, Gray, Juvia, Bickslow and of course they would bring Cana. I saw father and daughter lock eyes.
"I'm sorry, Cana," he whispered as he placed his hand on my shoulder. She didn't show any expression as she nodded. He turned back to Makarov. "I will tell you one more time, if you lay a finger on her you'll have to take it up with me."
"Fine. I'm not holding back for you though." We stood staring at each other for a few seconds before Laxus and Mira charged at me.
"Satan Soul!" Mira screamed at the same time as I screamed,"Satan Soul: Chi!" Our claws clashed together, faces centimeters apart. She clenched her teeth as I snickered.
"You should remember that you are not only against me," she grinned and looked over my shoulder.
"Oh, don't worry about that," I threw one of my hands behind me right as Laxus was about to pounce. My nails sunk into his chest, a good half inch or so deep. Then I twisted my hand, creating a fist size hole in his skin, tearing the skin off. He let out a piercing screech, catching everyone's attention as his blood drained out onto my arm.
"LAXUS," Mira dove under me to him. She shook as he began coughing, and was out. "You monster. I will kill you for that," she leapt up, aiming at my face. I threw my arms up in front of me, but I didn't feel her attack.
"I got you, Lucy," Bickslow whispered, shielding me.
"Thank you," I couldn't help but smile. "And Mira, I hope you know he won't die. The attack just puts them out, it will heal before he wakes up and all that will be left is a faint scar."
"That's not going to stop me from killing you! You are covered in his blood, FOR THE SECOND TIME!"
Chi was fully taking over now and I began giggling, my wings extending out. "And I will be covered in your's next. Thank you, Bickslow is it? But Chi can handle her now." He didn't argue, seeing what I had done with out Chi being in full control. "Smart man, he's a keeper," I said not thinking.
"Will you stop talking and let me finish you?" Mira once again lunged at me. I flew up and floated.
"You missed," I taunted.
"Shut up!" She recovered and joined me in the air. "It's your turn, no more being defensive."
"With pleasure." I shot like a bullet towards her, diving lower and wrapping my arm around her waist. I grabbed her hips and pushed her back, sending her into a wall, trapping her. "Now I will feel the warmth of your blood." I sliced the side of her cheek and held my finger there.
"You idiot," she grunted, sinking her own nails into my sides. I grimaced and looked down.
Taking in a shaky breath I met her eyes. "So I guess you really want to play. In the case Satan Soul: Homura."
"If you're going stronger than so am I! Satan Soul: Sitri!" We transformed and I pushed back off the wall and flew in front of her. "Your outfit looks so cute," she mocked me.
"Your face also looks cute now that I've added my own touch to it."
"If you were going to use fire, then why didn't you just have Natsu come and save you? My bad, he hates you now for going against us."
"What about you? Being all mighty when you have no chance. Where's Laxus when you need him most? Oh wait, that's right.. He's-"
"Don't you dare finish that sentence."
"You mean the part about how he's-"
She screamed and threw herself at me, catching me off guard as we collided into a giant pillar. I shoved her off, kicking her in the gut. She grabbed onto my leg and twisted it. I shrieked and knocked our heads together. Fire engulfed my body, setting her aflame as well.
"Burn you demon," I rammed my shoulder into her chest sending her upwards. She hit her head on the ceiling and was out cold. She landed hard a few feet away from Laxus.
For the first time in a while I looked around and saw that everyone had stopped fighting and had trained their eyes on ours. Bickslow still stood where he did when he blocked Mira, the others hadn't seemed to move at all.
"Is that all you guys got?" I questioned, landing gracefully and changing back to my normal form. "Makarov, Erza? Want to take a crack or are we done now?"
"Laxus, Mira," Makarov whispered their names. His eyes finally connected with mine and pure hatred flooded them. "If Mira can't kill you then-" he started
"Master, we should back down. There is little to no chance of defeating her at this time, two of our strongest are down and one seems to have joined the other side. Plus if we do somehow beat her, we still have to go through Gildarts," Erza stepped in. She glared at me and continued," Jellal said he never liked you anyway, he was just using you for your power. He could have whatever he wanted and get whatever he wanted by having you close by. Now he's in jail because of your stupid behavior. I hope you're happy, and next time we meet, I will be your last sight."
I didn't say anything as Gray and Erza grabbed Mira and Laxus. Not even Juvia could look me in the eye. Cana didn't move for a moment, it seemed like she was studying me, but then followed them.
"Well, Gildarts. What now?" I asked, pivoting around to the two men.
"We get out of here before guards come and track us down," he said while heading towards the nearest window. "We are seriously in big trouble now, let's hurry out of here. There's someone I want you to introduce me to."
