Dear Laxus,

I don't know why I'm so antsy to write to you, but it's the only thing I seem to find joy in. Knowing that you are reading just, I don't know, makes me so happy.

And I really need that now. Miles, Josh, and Jeffery haven't said anything about when we will be leaving, so I've been waiting for them to say the word. They have gone back to their jobs, though. Did you know Jeffery works at a bowling alley? And Josh works at a department store? And most surprising, Miles works as a host at a expensive restaurant! I wonder if they get paid a lot?

Last night I couldn't fall asleep, my head was pounding, I couldn't hear anything over my racing heart. I felt intensely drunk or high or I don't even know, I just felt so out of it. I didn't have anything out of the ordinary though, Miles brought me scraps they hadn't used at the restaurant and I had the nasty tap water. I don't know, I guess I'm losing it.

I can't keep myself occupied, there is absolutely nothing to do. It's gotten to the point where I'm cleaning to just do something, the boys are slobs, but it's never enough to hold me down for a whole day. I've tried organizing the basement, but that is just a mess within it's self. The smell of weed is stronger down there than anywhere else in the house, and I need some trash bags to do anything worthwhile.

The only thing that I find fun around here is writing to you, even if you haven't gotten any of my letters yet. Miles took the letters I wrote, he said he would put the stamps on and mail them out before he went in for work, so hopefully I'll get a letter back after this one is sent!

I can't wait to hear, well, no, read what all is going on at the house and what you have been up to! Keep in touch!

Sincerely,

Mira
