Chapter 19

I gripped the edges of the toilet, emptying the little bit that was in my stomach.

"Lucy!" Juvia came running in. I sat back on my feet as she stood in front of the open stall.

"Juvia, y-you are breaking up with me," I was sweating and shaking uncontrollably.

"What do you mean?!"

I wiped my mouth with my hand. "I know you are still in love with Gray, and he loves you too. I was just there to fill in the missing space."

"You weren't filling in space, I thought I loved you, but..." She didn't finish her sentence.

"It's ok, I understand. Go get 'your love'."

"I can't, you are sick."

"I'll be fine, love should come before me, I'm serious, go." She smiled and nodded, running out of the bathroom. I leaned my head against the wall of the stall and sighed, flushing the toilet.

"I don't care if it's the girls bathroom," I heard a muffled voice through the door. It slammed open and Natsu busted in. "Lucy, are you ok? You ran in here-"

"I'm fine, Natsu, just side effects from the potion I guess." He dropped to his knees beside me, pulling my head to his chest. "Uhh, what are you doing?"

"You and Juvia broke up, aren't you the least bit sad?"

"Yeah, but she's in love with someone else, so it's for the better."

"Are you in love with someone else, too?"

"Nah, everyone else is pretty much a friend or someone I haven't talked to. I'm still fairly new here."

"Yeah."

"Are you going to let go of me now?"

"Not unless you are feeling better," he stroked my hair.

"Ok, well I'm feeling better and this is getting awkward, so I'm going to go.. Thanks," I removed myself from his arms and stood up, beginning to wobble. He caught me and helped me out of the bathroom and to a booth.

"Are you sure you are ok with me being with Juvia?" Gray asked almost as instantly as he saw us.

"Yep, but if you ever do anything to hurt her.."

"I won't." He walked away leaving me with Natsu. Well for a few seconds at least.

"Luuuuucy," Mira came over with a shopping bag in hand.

"Hmm?"

"Come with me," she grabbed my wrist, pulling me to the bar. I steadied myself on a stool. "So, I bought this love potion.." She whispered.

"You what?!"

"Shh!" She slapped her hand over my mouth. "I bought it to try it out on Laxus, but I'm really nervous that it won't work and his group will think it's weird I poured liquid on him.. So I wanted you to try it out first."

I removed her hand,"on who? And how?"

"You just pour a little on them, it could be like their shoulder or anywhere, and it can be anyone. They should fall in love with you moments after you've used the potion."

"Fine, I guess I could try it on Happy, he is just a cat after all.." I took the pretty large bottle from her. My foot caught a loose floor board and I went falling to the ground, unable to save myself. The bottle opened and the potion went flying, landing on everyone in the dinning area. "Oh no..." I squeaked, Mira helping me back up. "What effects does this potion have exactly?"

"It's just what the potion is called, they fall in love with whoever used the potion."

"How do you break the spell??"

"You uhh, have to kiss one of them.."

"WHAAAT?!" I screeched as I felt myself being lifted into the air.

"You are no shrimp, but you are pretty cute," I looked down to see Gajeel smirking up at me.

"Oh no you don't!" Erza crashed into Gajeel, knocking me out of his arms and into hers. "I'm in love with you, Lucy."

"Blonde is mine," Laxus stormed up, ripping me away.

"Nope, sorry. I'm in love with Lucy," Bickslow threw me over his shoulder. I looked over in fear at Natsu, hoping he wasn't under the spell.

"Lucy.." He whispered, getting up.

"Nooo! Virgo!" I yelled, struggling to grab her key.

"What can I do for you, princess?" She appeared.

"Get me out of here!" I wiggled out of Bickslow's hold and Virgo dug our escape.

"Ice make stairs!" I heard Gray yell. Not him, too.

"Where to, princess?" Virgo asked.

"Anywhere but here, but don't take me home, that could be a big mess.. Hey wait. Gemini!" I called to them. They floated along side us. "Quick, turn into me and see if you can be a decoy, Virgo make a little place for us to hide." They did as told and we watched as the group ran up to Gemini.

"Anyone want a kiss?" She made a piece sign.

"You aren't the real Lucy, show us her," Cana demanded.

"Sorry, Lucy," Gemini looked right at us.

"Run!" I instructed, covering my face as they all found us. We made some distance between them when we finally went to the surface. "Where are we?" I looked around. There were a few trees and a river. It was pretty.

"I sensed a key around here when we were running. I thought you might want to check it out."

"Oh, cool. Thanks for the help, Virgo. And tell Gemini I said thank you, too."

"Will do." I went down to the river where there was a patch of rocks and looked through the them. A stick like object caught my eye standing straight up in the rushing water. I took a few steps in, the water soaking my shoes and ankles. I reach out and grabbed the object. It was the thirteenth gate key, the black key.

"Oh my god.." I breathed, staring at it in awe. I did the first thing I thought of and called Leo and Capricorn. "Guys, I found it, well Virgo did, but look." I showed them the key.

"It's Ophiuchus," Leo took the key and studied it.

"The snake charmer," I finished for him.

"You could possibly be the strongest wizard now, with all thirteen keys you could pull off the ultimate attack," Capricorn moved his glasses.

"I can't wait to make a contract with them-"

"Lucy, I found you!" I heard running coming my way.

"Crap.." I didn't want to turn around. I quickly took the key back and clipped it into the pouch, not wanting to lose it.

"Have fun with them," Leo waved and the two left.

"Don't leave me," I reached out but it was to late.
