*Lucy's POV*

I yawned, sitting up in my bed feeling reenergized. I turned to the crib the twins had been using for the last few days and saw that Ichiro was no longer in there.

I got up and looked out into the living room. Natsu sat on the couch reading a book aloud, a boy on either side of him. I sat down, picking Ichiro up and putting him on my lap.

"Good morning, aunt Lucy," Ichiro and Izumi said at the same time.

"Good morning, boys."

Ichiro snuggled up to me and I rested my head on Natsu's shoulder. He continued reading and making up voices for the characters, which would send the boys into a giggling frenzy.

A small knock came from the door. I got up, trying not to disturb the readers too much, and stepped out into the hall. The door revealed the three Fullbusters.

"Hey Lucy, I know this is short notice.. But could you watch Hiroaki for us? Money is really tight right now.." Juvia rambled.

"Sure," I held my arms out to take the little one.

"Thank you so much. We will try to be back as all as possible," Gray (I just realized that it's spelled with an a and not an e sorry) smiled.

"Do what you have to do. Say bye Hiroaki."

"Buh-bye, momma. Buh-bye daddy," he brought his hand to his mouth and blew kisses.

"Goodbye, thank you again," they waved and headed out.

"Let's go listen to uncle Natsu read a book," I said, tickling his stomach.

"Who was it?" Natsu asked when I walked over.

"Hiroaki will be staying with us for a few days."

"Hey, bud!"

I sat him down next to Izumi and went back to bedroom to set up a place for them to sleep. I grabbed a few blankets and three pillows from the closet. Izumi and Ichiro had been squished in that crib for the last few days, so I decided to give them a little more space and folded the crib up. The blankets took the place of the crib and there was plenty of room for them. Good thing they were still too young to know how to open doors.

I stood in the door frame watching the four childish boys read about monster trucks.

"Aunt Lucy, I'm hungry," Izumi looked up.

"Well, then we will have to do something about that. Hmm.. What do you guys think about spaghetti for dinner?"

"Yes!" I got the answer I was looking for, I knew it was something they all loved.

"I'll get started on that if you guys can clean up and help uncle Natsu set the table."

They all jumped off the couch and began cleaning. Natsu walked over to me and kissed my cheek.

"What was that for?" I asked, filling a pot with water.

"For being such a good mother," he said, getting out another pot.

"I'm not a mother," I playfully rolled my eyes. "But either way, you are a good father, too." I was about to kiss him when another knock on the door startled me.

Natsu went to go see who it was while I chopped up meat. I dropped that into a pot and turned both burners on.

"We have another one joining us.." Natsu came back with a Rei in his arms.

"Hey, cutie," I said, surprised to see her. Natsu put her down and she ran off to help the boys. "Natsu, how are we supposed to take care of four children? And why is she here?"

"Mira said she and Laxus haven't had a night off in a few months. I didn't really have a choice.. She just kinda handed her to me and left. We should be ok, she's only here for one night and the twins should be picked up this week," he reassured me.

I put the noodles into the now boiling water and poured a jar of marinara sauce into the meat, stirring each. "I feel like this is going to be a long night."

"Should be fun though."

"You always look on the bright side of things."

"Uncle Natsu we finished," the four rallied up children crowded around him.

"Wow, you guys are natural picked uppers! Do you think you could help me set the table now?" A collections of yeahs followed. I shook my head at them, smiling, and drained the noodles. "Lucy, we have a problem.." Natsu came up behind me and whispered.

"Hmm?" I replied, taking the meat off the burner and turning it off.

"We only have two high chairs.."

I thought for a minute. "I guess they will have to sit on our laps.. Or wait I have a better idea. Go grab a table cloth."

He walked to the hall closet and brought one back. I gathered up everyone's plates and set them on the counter.

"Aunt Lucy what are you doing?" Rei asked.

"Since there aren't enough seats at the table, we are going to have a picnic in the living room." Natsu caught my drift and laid the cloth in the center of the room.

"A picnic?" Ichiro echoed.

"Yep, go find a seat on the blanket."

Natsu took the glasses from the table and filled them with milk. I scooped the pasta onto the plates and topped it with the sauce.

After getting the kids their food, and taking a ton of napkins, Natsu and I sat on the edge of the cloth. I was just really glad that the living room floor was hard wood and not carpet.

I smiled as the kids made a mess of them selves with the sauce. "I can't wait until we have our own," I whispered.

"Me too," he kissed the side of my head.
