"Lucy!" Mira and Erza came running up to me.
"What's up?" I asked sitting in a booth and polishing my keys. The games had just ended about an hour ago, and no one has come back to the guild hall since.
"Master really thinks you have the strength to be an s-class wizard! He wants you to join immediately," Erza was excited.
"I'm sorry, but I can't take you up on that offer. I've been here for like, what, three days? There are wizards out there who have been here longer and have been trying harder to win, so
I couldn't just come in and take it from them. I like where I am right now," I put my keys back into their pouch and stood up. "So where is everyone else?""Still in the arena, plotting their revenge. But you seriously should consider becoming an s-class wizard."
"I'll pass. And let them make plans. It should be fun, I know my spirits like it." I gave them a smile and headed out the door.
"Where are you going?"
"A place where my friends are." They looked confused, but followed. I made my way back to the arena and found them all recovering on the field.
"Oh no, you aren't back to pummel us more, are you?" The girl with the cards whined.
"Nope, I came to apologize and have a fair fight, if anyone wants a rematch. I don't need the s-class title and just by your determination I can tell you all want this so badly. So..."
"I'm not doing that, you beat us fair and square. Accept your victory," Natsu cut me off. 'What? I thought he would want a crack at me most of all..'
"I wouldn't mind taking a hit at you," Elfman stood up.
"Me too," card lady stood up as well.
"Elfman, Cana, it would be best if you didn't. Even in a fist fight, she could kill you. I know her mother and father, and I know she has all the gate keys. She is one of the most powerful celestial wizards I've met. I must say, it is even possible she could beat me in a battle," Master popped up next to me.
"What?" Gray looked up at us.
"Lucy, may I speak with you?"
"Uh, sure master." He led me to a private room somewhere in the arena. "What's up?"
"I know your parents are both dead, but I've only heard about what happened to your father. He never stopped working after your mothers death, so much that he worked himself into a grave. He neglected you, so you moved on and carried on your mothers legacy. I'm assuming that's how you found us. Now, the only puzzle piece that is missing, what happened to your mother?"
I froze. 'How does he know so much about me, and why does he want to know about mom?'
"You are holding back, child. Apparently only very few people know about your mothers death. I remember I was called in to meet with the magic council about how the guild was acting. As I was leaving, I saw a little girl in the infirmary. She was alone, but she was content with the sky. That girl was you, am I right? Tell me, what exactly happened that day."
"No," I brought my arms over my head as if I was being attacked. "No!" I screamed and lost control, falling to the floor.
"Natsu! Gray!" I heard master yell as I curled into a ball and started shaking.
"What's going on?! Lucy?!" They ran in. Natsu came to my side and was about to pick me up.
"Don't touch me!" I screamed in horror, pushing away from him. I saw my keys glowing and Loke appeared.
"I got her," he picked me up. I fidgeted in his arms.
"Please help me," I whispered, still clutching my arms around my head.
"It's ok, I'm here now," he said soothingly as he walked us away. The last glimpse I caught was Gray staring at me.
"Help me," I whispered, directing it at him. An outside source, maybe he could make things better and stop my madness.
