My eyes slowly fluttered open. Beautiful sunlight spilled through my window and I smiled, stretching. My whole body ached, but I had felt like this everyday for the past month that it didn't really bother me.

I climbed out of bed and threw on a new, clean pair of clothes. Today was going to be amazing, I would get to see everyone again, and hopefully they aren't mad at me anymore.

I squealed at the thought, which was unusual for me, and dashed to the guild hall. I stopped, playing it cool, and pushed open the doors.

"Lucy, you came back!" Gray smiled.

"Why wouldn't I?" I strode over to him and Juvia's table. "WAUGH," I screamed, being tackled to the ground once again.

"I missed you so much," it was Natsu. "You didn't tell us you were leaving, and no one had heard from you since.. Well.." I met my eyes.

"It's ok, Natsu. I'm here now." He gave me a toothy grin and helped me up. "Are we, uhh, cool now?"

"Yeah, Sting is a good guy I just never thought you would go out with him. Sorry.."

"It's in the past. Hey, do you mind taking me to their guild hall? He didn't know I was leaving either and.."

"He came here almost every other day, seeing if you had returned. He was frantic."

"Now I feel bad, I have to see him."

"I'll draw you a map, you probably want to be alone with him."

"That would be great."

We smiled and he went to the bar to get a napkin and pen. Gray sighed and shook his head.

"What?" I questioned.

"You don't see it?"

"See what?"

"Dude.."

"Here," Natsu handed me the napkin.

"Thanks, I'll be off! See you around," I waved to them and followed the map. I walked as quickly as my legs could go, stumbling over my feet every once and a while.

I stopped in front of a giant building, it seemed similar to ours. I pushed opened the doors, scanning the room.

"Lucy?!" Rouge jumped up and ran over to me with Frosch. "Where have you been?!"

"I can answer that later, where is Sting?"

"He's been in his room. The only time he's come out is to leave to your hall, follow me." He brought me down a hallway past a few rooms until we stood in front of a door. "This is his," he whispered. I nodded and the two left me.

"She'll be back, I know she will," a muffled voice, I think it was Lector's.

"Yeah, I hope, I'm going to take a shower," there was Sting's as another door shut. The water turned on. I lightly tapped on the door. Lector opened it with a sad face, looking to the floor.

"No need to be sad anymore," I picked him up. He gasped and I put finger over my lips, signaling to be quiet. He flapped his paws as I placed him back down and pulled me inside, closing the door behind us.

"Was someone at the door?" Sting walked out of the bathroom with only boxers on. He hadn't looked in our direction yet, going towards his dresser. In one swift movement, I had my arms wrapped around him, having my face to his back. "What?" He looked over his shoulder at me. "Lucy!" He turned around, engulfing me in a big hug.

I ran my fingers through his hair, bringing his lips to mine. I breathed in his scent, smelling him for the first time in forever.

He broke away, still shocked. "Where were you and why were you gone for so long?"

"I thought me disappearing for a while would give everyone time to settle down. I went on a job request, and it took longer than I expected. Sorry.."

He brought our foreheads together. "We could have worked something out, you didn't have to go do that."

"Well, it was good for me, too. I got a break from the drama." That made him smile. "Now," I laid back on his bed, bringing him on top of me. "Kiss me." He grinned and met my request.

"Uhh.." Lector sounded embarrassed.

I pulled away and squinted my eyes closed. "Sorry, I kinda... Sorry, Lector."

"Don't be like that," Sting chuckled, getting off of me and standing up. "I'm going to get dressed and we can go out and do something."

I sat up, smiling. "Ok."
