Chapter 14

Juvia was kissing me, but for some reason I didn't pull away. She broke apart first and smiled.

"What was that for?" I barely made any noise.

"You showed me I'm more than just Gray's accessory. And I think I may be falling in love with you. Could we maybe go out?"

"We just met today, but I have to be honest. This is the closest I've been to a real person in years, so yes." She leaned in and kissed me again.

"It's getting late," She said.

"I'll walk you home, you have a room at the guild hall, right?"

"Mhmm," she clasped our hands together and we walked in the darkness of the night. I dropped her off and headed to my place.

'Am I really dating her? I didn't know I liked girls.. Maybe I don't and I'm just not used to being in love with someone. Am I even really in love though?' I thought as I unlocked my door. 'Either way, she's really nice and at least, I do really like her.' I crashed as soon as my head hit my pillow.

I dreamt about the day my mother died, but it was totally different then what actually happened. The blue haired guy was there, he was chasing me and my mother, giving out a loud, horrible laugh. 'Go away!' I screamed at him, but he vanished and the fire started raining down on us. With in seconds we were surrounded by the fire. Mom was dead and I was crying for her to get up. 'You aren't going to cause any trouble are you?' Blue hair appeared behind me. I was shaking, slowly turning to meet his empty face. All that was there was the red eye, it felt like it was staring right through me. 'Stay away from us..' The eye pulsed and everything went dark.

I sprung up in my bed, panting and holding my hand over my rapidly beating heart. 'Just a dream, you are safe.' I took in a shaky breath and got out from under the covers, placing my feet on the cold floor.

After taking a quick shower and throwing on some clothes, I made my way to the guild. I walked in and stopped at the door, debating wether I would go try to get Gray to give me answers.

"Lucy, my love," Juvia ran up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Juvia, my love," I giggled and wrapped my arms around her waist, pecking her lips.

"WHAAAT?!" A chorus of shocked voices sang. I hugged her closer to me, the dream still fresh on my mind. She seemed concerned and locked our eyes.

"Why is everyone so loud- what is this?!" Gildarts had walked out from the library.

"Uhh.." I started but couldn't help giggling at everyone's expression. "So uh, yeah we are dating now."

"Since when?" Gray seemed the most surprised out of everyone.

"Last night. It doesn't seem like we are exactly dating though, we are really close friends," Juvia said.

"Who like to kiss," I added. "But it's still technically dating."

"This is so weird and doesn't seem right.." Elfman said. My head snapped over to him, I could feel my eyes aflame.

"A real man doesn't judge people based on who they love, so back off unless you aren't a man." I've always hated that men thought it was ok to judge people, it's infuriating. His face got really red and he shut up.

"Dang, power house laying down the rules. Good for you, blonde," Laxus said. "Gildarts, you may have some competition."

"She definitely knows how to put people in their place," he grinned.

"You bet I do. Now, what is going on today? I don't have any plans," I turned back to Juvia.

"Anything you want," she replied.

"Then, we are going on a job request," Natsu joined us.

"What? Excuse me?" I looked at him.

"Yup. There are a bunch of new jobs on the board that are requesting you specifically." He put one in my face.

"I've been on two in like the last week."

"It should be fun," Juvia smiled.

I sighed," Ok, if that's what you want to do."

"Yay!" She squealed.

"I'm coming too," Gray stood up.

"You too?"

"Yeah. Let's go." Juvia and Natsu each grabbed one of my hands, literally dragging me out of the guild hall.

"Why meeee," I whined and heard laughter from the others.
