*Well would you look at that, an update!*

*Natsu's POV*

Rei woke up a little while later and we headed to the guild.

"Hey there, baby girl," Laxus said picking Rei up when we arrived.

"Hello, daddy," she giggled, hugging his face.

"What did you do yesterday?" Mira asked.

"We had a picnic in the living room because there weren't enough seats for us! It was so fun, we had spaghetti. And then I got a bath, but Hiroaki made the water cold. He also made it so cold we couldn't sleep, so he went and slept in Aunt Lucy's bed."

Hiroaki turned away in embarrassment. "Wait all four of the kids were there?" Mira's eyes widened.

"Yeah.. But they were fine, we had fun."

"If I had known that I wouldn't have asked you to watch Rei.. Four kids wow.. We can take Hiroaki, you guys need a break."

"Tha-"

"It's ok, he's only with us for a few days," I cut Lucy off. She looked surprised, but didn't argue. They seemed as surprised as her, and nodded.

"Why didn't you accept their offer?" Lucy asked as we walked out of the hall.

"He wouldn't have been comfortable staying with them, didn't you see how the others acted towards him? I want him to feel like he fits in."

"I guess that makes sense, Hiroaki you want to go to the park?"

"Mhmm," he hummed as we strode through the warm, sunny air.

"Wait, Lucy!" A voice called out her name. We turned to face a worried Juvia and Gray.

"Juvia? What are you doing here, I thought you were going to be gone for a few days?" Lucy asked as Hiroaki jumped into Gray's arms.

"We were, but on our train we overheard a group of people talking about this new dark guild in town. Said that children are going missing and something is off now that the guild has arrived," she gently patted Hiroaki's back. The bags under her eyes showed she hadn't slept last night.

"Thank you for watching him last night, but we probably aren't going to go on any requests until the guild leaves town," Gray finished.

"No problem, stay safe." They turned and quickly walked back towards the hall. "Hey, remember what I said last night?"

"What was that?" I asked as we took a turn back to our house.

"We should try again. I want a child of our own, not just ones we watch for a few days at a time, but one I can call mine."

"If you're ready and that's what you want, then let's try it," I smiled down at her and kissed her forehead. She giggled and tugged on my arm.

"Come on," we broke into a jog. She seemed so childish in this moment, man do I love her. She pushed open the front door and dragged me up the stairs.

Once we were in our room, I spun us and flopped back on the bed, holding her on top of me. "Last confirmation that you want to do this." My hand went to her ear and I rubbed the mark between my thumb and pointer finger.

"Yes," she smiled and connected our lips.

I sighed awake the next morning. Lucy was already up and moving around, cleaning the place. "Hey babe," she walked over to the bed and leaned down.

"Hey," I sat up and met her halfway, pecking her lips. "Why are you cleaning?"

"Because we never got around to picking the place up after the kids left. And uhm.." She trailed off and turned away.

"Uhm?" I quickly pulled on my boxers from last night and stood. "What's wrong?"

"Levy is coming over. I just want to make sure we don't look like slobs." She continued her cleaning and wouldn't look back at me.

"Lucy. Levy has seen us at our worst, she knows us. Now tell me what's really going on." She stopped moving. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist, spinning her in the process. Her head instantly laid against my chest and hands placed on my back.

"Ichiro went missing this morning. Gajeel was here a little while ago frantic." She started shaking as I breathed in heavily. "All I could think is what would we do if that was our child?..."

"I know, it's a hard thing to think about. We will find Ichiro, I'll take you to the guild and the guys and I will go out and look, ok? Comfort Levy because who knows how she is taking this." She was still shaking but nodded her head. "It's ok, Luce. Everything will be ok."

"I hope so," she whispered. I kissed her forehead and we stayed like that until she wanted to get ready.
