Chapter 2

*Whoa, this book actually is getting an update? Jesus, it's a miracle!*

"What do you mean, the fun can actually start?" Gajeel was still grossed out after his connection with Evergreen. "Wasn't this enough torture?"

"I don't think it was torture, I think it was a new experience."

"You are a monster."

"Why thank you. Ok now everyone needs to get into pairs." I quickly grabbed Laxus' arm, claiming him as my partner. "You can choose your own team mate, but choose wisely because once you've chosen, you can't change." Everyone scrambled to be with who you would expect.

"So what's the plan?"

"Well, I thought why not have a new version of hide and seek?"

"Oh no," Laxus shook his head, looking down at me.

"It will be fuuuun, don't worry."

"If it's anything like the last game, then let's not," Gray rolled his eyes.

"Nope, this one you'll all love. You should be glad I let you choose your partners. Ok so how this is going to work is one from each pair is going to hide and try not to get caught. The other person is going to defend the hider, and attempt to find other players. So for instance say Lucy was hiding and Gray was about to find her. Natsu would be allowed to step in and protect her while she escapes to another hiding place. You can move around, and all types of magic is allowed."

"Dang, this actually sounds a little fun," Kinana admitted.

"What did I tell you? Ok teams, decide who will hide and who will seek."

"You hide, I'll protect you," Laxus said, stepping in front of me.

"Psh, like I'm going to let you have all the fun. A girl can protect a guy too ya' know," I slapped his arm.

"That's not my point. You have transformation magic, you can turn into anything here and hide easily. You really think I'm that sexist?"

"Oh, I didn't think of that... Ok. We better not lose. Other teams, ready?"

"Yeah!" I got in response.

"Good. There will be two rounds. First one is all teams against each other. Second round is the remaining five teams against each other. The other competitors will be road blocks and people you have to fight. Once a road block is defeated, they can no longer fight. Once a seeker is out, they are disqualified and the hider is no longer as safe. Hiders disperse, game begins in one minute when the clock chimes!"

I ran into the kitchen. It had been a while and the place hadn't been used, so I knew there were a few rodents.

"Transformation Magic," I whispered and turned into a mouse, scurrying under the counter. Thankfully no one followed me in and the guild was completely silent. Only a few seconds and the clock wild sound.. This is so nerve racking!

Finally the silence was broken by church bells. It's time. Almost as instantly as the bells went off, the kitchen doors burst open. I squeaked and backed up against the wall.

"Iron fist!" The floor boards shattered against the impact of the dragons fist. "Gehe, you transformation mages think you're hot stuff, I'll just break everything here, along with your faces." Of course Gajeel of all people would be that reckless. Things continued to crack and splinter as he got closer to my hiding spot. Laxus, where the hell are you?!

"Right here, baby," his voice came, somehow reading my mind. Next thing I know, Laxus is beating Gajeels face in with punches and electrocuting him. I dashed out of the kitchen, and behind the bar. I took form of one of the glasses and went toward the back of the shelf.

"Mira!" I heard a feminine voice.

"Juvia?" I whispered back. I looked around and saw that a glass a few away was filled with water. "Oh, you're smart."

"Well yeah, but this isn't going to work if we are both here."

"Nah, it's fine. Gray doesn't stand chance against Laxus so it's chill."

"There's no working with you, jeez. I- Waugh!" Her glass was yanked out, sending a bunch of others shattering.

"Found you," Laxus smiled, flipping the glass upside down and watched her body form.

"Dang it, Mira!" She stormed off to find Gray.

"Two more left until the second round," Laxus said and went to look around more. Dang, this is going by pretty quickly.
