I mindlessly walked through the forest, tripping over roots and rocks. Mavis still had yet to return, not sure if she will or not, and she hasn't answered me in my thoughts.

I was completely alone. With a bloody knife and unwelcome images that kept popping up in my mind. This sucks, and of course Mavis lied about the stream or else I would have found it by now.

"URGH! Why did I listen to her, I should have known she would leave me stranded. Can I just find some water, soon? Please?"

I closed my eyes and sunk down to my knees. A slash in front of me made me jump back, catching me off guard. The word water was spelled out above me in actual water. In seconds, it splashed down, drenching me.

There you go, McGarden! It's coming back!

"Why are you answering me now?! Where are you?" I shrieked at the air.

Not important. You have to figure this out yourself, I don't know all the answers myself but I can guide you as much as I can. There is a dirt road a few yards to your right, a wagon with a young couple will appear. You see that rock?

I turned to my right, and she was correct. There was a dirt road, how did I not notice that before?

"Yeah I see it, what about it?"

In two minutes, the wagon will drive through, it will hit that rock and the ladies suitcase will fall off the top of the carriage. Grab it and run before they get out.

"That's very specific, how can I trust you-" the sound of hooves made my neck snap in that direction. Sure enough, there was the wagon. "What the hell kind of sorcery is this?"

Shut up and do as I said. Start running now, they will swerve and hit the rock. Go.

Without hesitation, I ran full force at the cart. The closer I got, the more worried I became. The driver showed no sign of noticing me, and the horses seems content enough. Oh crap.. Last time I trust Mavis.

I ran face first into the carriage, spooking the moving horses. They sped up as I fell back, shifting to the side and hit the rock. The cart lurched upward and the driver flew off his seat, thrown at a tree. With a scream and a sickening spitter, the man was impaled by a rather large branch.

The suitcase.

I looked at the cart as one of the suitcases tumbled off and plopped right into my lap.

"What was that?!" The carriage door opened and a mans head stuck out.

"Who is she?" A woman's voice followed.

Run, idiot!

I scrambled to my feet and bolted in the other direction, their yells fading. Oh my god, I don't want to be them when the police arrive and see a man impaled by a branch, dangling in a tree. That would not be pretty..

My running slowed when I thought I was a safe distance away and could catch my breath.

"Mavis, we really need to work on strategy here. Me running into the carriage and the guy dying was something you did not inform me about," I sat against a stump.

But it worked, and it was really funny.

"You're so hard to work with, you've got to give me something here."

You seem to be doing fine, just work on using your magic and you'll be set. When you figure out which of the nine girls you are, you'll know who you have to seek out. Now find a pair of clothes and clean yourself.

"Is that it? You're gone?" No response. Of course. "I hate you so much." Rolling my eyes, I unzipped the pink suitcase and rummaged through. Most of the clothes were fancy, a few pantsuits, blouses, and long pants. The only thing that would work with the circumstances I was in were running shorts, I'm assuming those were supposed to be her pajamas, and a sports bra. "Mavis, whats up with your fashion choices?" I grabbed a pair of panties and set my bundle of clothes aside.

"Ok, Mavis. Answer this question at least. If I use magic, I can be reunited with my old guild members?"

Yes, the ones you will be with I'm not sure. But if you don't use your magic the world is done for. So what is more important?

"I guess the world. Ugh." I threw my clothes on a low hanging branch and stripped down. Just use your magic.. I squinted my eyes closed and put my hands in the air. "Solid script; Water." It felt like a flood as the refreshing liquid poured over me. I found some soaps in the suit case and happily rubbed good amounts through my hair and on my body. Using solid script a few more times, I felt like a whole new person.

And after using the dressy clothes to dry off, I pulled on the panties, shorts, and bra.

Good! Now you just need to work more on getting back to using your magic as defense and attacks. Also if you run out of magic power, have your knife as something to fall back on so get used to using that too.

"Thank you, I guess. But how come I haven't found out who I'm supposed to find?" I wrung my hair out with a blouse.

Patience. Ok well you are on your own from here. Good luck, McGarden.

"What the hell?? No? Excuse me, what do you mean I'm on my own?"

All I got was silence. Huffing, I tossed the suit case and contents into a near ditch and continued walking in any direction I thought fit.

End.
