"You did good, Gajeel," I gave him a high five as we headed to a tavern. "Sorry about the shrimp thing..."

"No sweat," he grinned and we walked in.

"Congratulations! Second place!" Master cheered, spilling a little bit of his drink.

"Are you drunk?" I questioned.

"Of course I am." I shifted, taken aback by the state he was currently in. I felt arms wrap around my waist and pick me up.

"Ahh, Sting?!" I freaked out, looking down at his red face.

"Hey, beautiful. You didn't like the heart sign?" He slurred his words.

"You're drunk, too?"

"What makes you say that?"

"I can smell the alcohol from here, now put me down."

"Only if you give me a kiss."

"How about I send you to the restaurant three doors down, the wall would make an excellent door."

"Feisty one," he set me down and spun me so we were stomach to stomach.

"Sting, you need to start keeping your hands to yourself. I don't want people to get the wrong idea."

"How can I keep my hands off of someone as beautiful as you? Even with out the potion, I'm in love with you."

"We meet a week ago, I know barely anything about you, and you know barely anything about me. How can you be in love with me?"

"He dated someone like you a few years ago, she was also a celestial wizard. But our old guild leader killed her, and her keys were sent away. You have them now," Rouge was next to us.

"She died?" I whispered.

"Her name was Yukino. You guys do look similar."

"Sting, I'm sorry," I met his gaze.

"It's ok, you're here now and I love you."

I paused. "No you don't, I won't be a replacement again," I ripped away from him and took off out of the tavern.

"Lucy, please," he followed me.

"Leave me alone."

"I can't do that."

I stopped in the middle of the street and turned around to him, tears streaming down my face. "Yes you can, I'm not Yukino and I never will be so move-" he cut me off by smashing his lips into mine. I pulled away quickly and slapped him across the face. "What do you not understand about no?" I was barely audible. He didn't respond, so I went back to our temporary home, leaving him standing in the street.

"Idiot!" I yelled, slamming the front door. "Why is he so forward about everything, and why does he choose me?" I thought about it for a moment, and gritted my teeth. Just like Juvia, I'm there to fill in for what they don't have. I tsked and crawled into bed, ready for the night to be over.

The next few days went by quickly. Everyone on my team had gotten to do their one on one battle, I was the last one. The special event I participated in was easy and I came in first with no trouble. The most exciting battle by far was when Gildarts and Sting faced off, I wasn't sure who to cheer for so I just silently watched. They tied, I thought Gildarts would have taken him out.

"He's holding back," Natsu noticed me staring.

"Why?"

"He doesn't want to kill the poor guy, and Sting isn't doing so well. It seems like something is on his mind right now." I sighed and looked at the two who didn't seem to have a scratch on them.

That was two days ago. Now it's is the last day and the last match of the games.

"This has been one heck of game season, everyone is bringing their best this year. Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, and Lamia Scale are currently tied for first place, followed by Fairy Tail B, Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus, and you guessed it, Quatro Cerberus. Now the final fight everyone has been waiting for.."

I hadn't been keeping track of who had gone and who hadn't, so I was just as anxious as everyone else to see who I would be facing.

"To end the season, Lucy Heartfilia will be facing off with Jura Neekis!"

"Oh, no.." Gildarts said under his breath.

"He's one of the Ten Wizard Saints, correct?" I asked.

"Lucy, this might be a tough one for you." I gulped and headed down towards the arena.
