"Did it go smoothly?" Zeref asked as I stopped in the valley.

"We are going to have more than just the slayers joining us. Mira saw through me and Makarov knows. I don't know if they will get in touch with Sabertooth or the kingdom, but just be ready for more than five people," I sighed, shaking my head.

"It can't be helped, we expected this anyway. Notice any weird things?"

"Yes. It was as if something had taken over their bodies and was talking through them. It was extremely creepy."

"This is bad, if they don't come.."

"Then we can't say what the earths fate will be," I finished for him. "Should we tell the others or are they already positioned in their places for the night?"

"They are in place, but they should be able to handle anything."

"Ok. Shall we go meet up with Jellal?"

"Yes."

We walked to a little ditch that Jellal was camped out in. He seemed tired until he saw us. He stood up. "Lucy, can I talk to you?"

"Uh, sure." Zeref took the place Jellal was in and we were a few yards away. "What's up?"

"This may or may not be the last time we talk, ever.." He started, looking at the ground.

"Yeah, it was nice knowing you for the short amount of time I did."

"Well, I was wondering if it would be ok if I kissed you again."

"What, why?"

"Because, if I never get to see you again, I want to have something to remember you by. And I want to remember loving someone other than Erza."

"I mean, I guess that's the last thing I could do for you before I'm gone."

"Thank you," he smiled and placed one hand on my cheek. I closed my eyes and leaned upwards, our lips meeting for a second time. I let him hold my face in his palms, his finger tips rubbing against my skin.

I didn't like it, but how could you say no to a wish like this? We weren't going to see each other ever again and even though he had been evil, it wasn't his fault. He pulled away and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes and searched his features. Was he satisfied, or was he going to go in again? Are we going to stand like this longer or are we going to go get ready for tomorrow morning?

"Thank you, again. I'll miss having someone like you to be around," he removed his warm hands.

"Hey, Erza is right around the corner and I know you love her more," I patted his shoulder and walked past him to go back to the ditch.

"Had your last goodbyes?" Zeref asked as we knelt down.

"Yep," I said.

"Good, because as of tomorrow, Lucy will no longer exist in our world."

"I wonder what it will be like, having two Lucy's in Edolas. And without magic, I can only rely on my strength."

"Let's not worry about that now. Get some sleep, morning will be here before we know it."

"Yeah. Goodnight," I laid down in between the two men.

It's so odd, I never would have guessed I would become allies with evil forces. But, it was fun with these guys, a new experience everyday. I'll miss them, for some reason.

"Lucy," Jellal shook me awake.

"Hmm?" I hummed, opening my eyes.

"It's time." I sat up and nodded my head. Zeref was a few paces away, looking out over the field.

"They are approaching. Hopefully the other four are awake and alert," he said over his shoulder. I got up and brushed off my dusty pants, the three of us walked to the middle of the valley.

"There," I spotted the huge group making their way towards us. I was correct, news travels fast. All of Fairy Tail and Sabertooth were advancing, along side many Royal guards. It was like a stand off, after we were about fifty feet apart.

"Lucy, you are working with Zeref of all people? And Jellal? What kind of alliance is this?" Makarov took a step forward. So did Sting and Arcadios.

"Are the five dragon slayers here?" Jellal called out to them.

"Yes, but they won't be coming over until you explain what's going on."

"Put them in the middle or I will kill you all right now," Zeref threatened.

"No," I gave him a sharp look. "That's not how we are going to work things out." I turned back to the mass in front of us. "We won't say anything until the dragon slayers are in the middle."

"Fine. Natsu, Wendy, Gajeel." The three walked out and Rouge and Sting followed. Their exceeds were about to join them.

"Only the slayers, exceeds must stay out of this," Jellal added. They fell back into their guilds.

"Now, Lucy!" Zeref yelled and I ran in between all the slayers, bringing my keys out.

"Virgo!" I yelled. She came quickly and with a snap of her fingers, the five and I were clothed in Celestial garments.

"What are you doing?!" Laxus broke into a sprint towards us.

"Go!" Virgo was about to bring us to the Celestial world when the ground began shaking. "Oh no, we are too late!"

"Lucy, get out of there," Zeref and Jellal came bounding to us. The five dragons slayers formed a circle around me and put their arms up, magic circles forming above them.

"Run!" Zancrow demanded, coming into view, the other three not too far behind him. They ran up to the guilds and tried to move them to safer areas, but they didn't budge.

"If you don't go now, you will be killed," Macbeth stated. "They are summoning the dragons back, go now we can handle them."

"Grab my hand," Zeref reached out to me but he wasn't quick enough. The dragons were upon us.
