"That was quick," Gray said when I walked in, then he gasped when he saw who's arm was hooked with mine. "Gildarts?"

"In the flesh," he snickered, smiling.

"It's you!!" Natsu lunged himself at Gildarts. I've heard that the guy was strong, but he is pretty fast too. He unhooked our arms and pushed Natsu to the side, which is where I was.

"Waugh," I screamed as I was crushed by pinky.

"Oh, hey there, Lucy," He put a hand on either side of my face and lifted himself off me a little bit.

"Natsu, I didn't know you had a new girl friend," Gildarts joked. "Sorry about that, Lucy."

"I'm not his girlfriend, and it's ok." Our noses were so close they almost touched.

"Are you sure? You guys are staring pretty intently into each other's eyes."

"Oh right," Natsu said, getting up. He offered his hand to me.

"Thanks," I took it and he pulled me up. I brushed the dust off my legs.

"Welcome back, Gildarts," master walked into view.

"Aye. Good to be back. Where is my daughter?" He looked around the dinning area.

"She left in a hurry earlier today. She's off on a job request."

"Ahh man. Then I guess I'm hanging out with you guys. Should be fun, I get to learn more about the mysterious Lucy."

"There's not much to it," I placed a hand on my hip.

"I feel like that's a lie," he smirked.

"You should see Blonde's magic, took out a whole island by herself," Laxus leaned over the railing of the second floor.

"Are you an s-class wizard?"

"She wouldn't take the position, I don't understand why though."

"Hmm.."

"Oh, Gray my love!" A girl who was dressed in blue wrapped her arms around Gray's arm.

"Ugh, not again," he rolled his eyes and wouldn't look at her.

"Are you guys dating?" I asked, Gildarts and Master had already walked away.

"No," Gray answered harshly. I looked from him to her.

"But she obviously likes you. Aren't you even going to show her a little of respect?"

"I don't want to hear that from you," he shot back.

"At least I have my reasons, and I don't just shut them out. I'm sorry, I don't know your name, but he's a jerk. You shouldn't go after someone who won't give you the time of day, he doesn't deserve someone as pretty as you."

"It's Juvia, and t-thanks," her grip on Gray loosened.

"Well, I'm Lucy, and it's nice to meet more faces. We should hang out." She blushed and nodded.

"I didn't know you could be so nice," Natsu said from beside me, and for once I didn't jump.

"I'm not a total monster. Well, I just got back from a job and I'm still new to the city, so who wants to show me around?"

"I would love to!" Juvia unlatched from Gray and hugged my arm. I hugged her back, laughing.

"Either of you two want to join?"

"You guys go have your fun," Natsu gave us a toothy grin.

"Ok, show me the way, Juvia," I let her grab on to my hand and lead me.

We walked around the city for a few hours, going through shops, getting our pictures taken, and having an amazing time.

"This place is so pretty," we ended the day by the huge tree in the park. She was flipping through the pictures. "I love it here, thanks for coming with me."

"It's you who I need to thank. I've been so caught up with being the best for Gray, I forgot what it's like to actually feel loved by someone. And I don't feel the need to impress you or hold back," she looked over at me.

"Nah, don't worry about it. If you don't mind me asking, why did you fall in love with him?"

"It was when our guilds were at war. I had to fight him, and I wanted to give my life away. But he wouldn't let me, he made me feel like a good person. He seemed so much more caring of me then, but now I'm just there."

"Well, I think you are amazing, and Gray doesn't know what a beautiful person he is missing out on." She gasped and I smiled.

Then something happened. It happened so quickly, I'm not even sure if it was real or a dream. No, it was real because here we still are, her lips connected to mine.
