GAME 8

Bea's POV

The result was already released. Tanggap ako both La Salle and Ateneo. Good thing, I took ACET kahit na wala akong balak going to Ateneo before. Sabi kasi ni AC, more entries, more chances of winning. Kaya dinamihan namin ang mga schools where we took entrance exams. Though, there's still no results for ACET yet.

Kakatapos lang ng training ko with Ateneo team. Usually nakikitrain din si AC, but now she's no where to be found kasi may group project daw na kailangan gawin.

I'm waiting for our driver here in front BEG when I saw ate Ly and ate Den walking.

"Oh, Bea. You're still here?" Nakiupo siya sa tabi ko. She's wearing the same wide smile.

"I'm waiting for my sundo." I answered. Ate Den sits at the other side.

"Ngayon pa natagalan. Nagkataong wala si AC. Mag-isa ka tuloy." Napangiti nalang ako sa reaksyon ni ate Ly. Concern is evident on her face.

"Is it okay if we join you for awhile?"

I nodded to ate Den's question. "Sure, but you don't have anything to do na? Baka makaistorbo pa ako."

They shook their head. "Nandyan lang naman ang dorm."

Silence enveloped the place. Nahihiya pa rin kasi ako kahit papano and something's occupying my mind.

Ate Ly breaks the silence. "Lalim ng iniisip mo ha." She taps my shoulder. "Pero whatever it is, I know a place. Tara, I'm sure it will help you."

Ate Den and her stood up so I did the same thing. We walked until we reached the Church of the Gesu.

Ang ganda, I like it's design and the ambiance.

"Nice right?" Ate Den asked kaya napatango ako habang nakatingin sa simbahan.

"Very nice!" Sagot ko while smiling.

We sit outside the church letting the fresh wind invade our systems.

"Gusto mo magkwento? Your secret is safe to us." Ate Ly give me this side hug. And I'm surprise, it gives me instant comfort.

"Is not a secret naman." I started. They are looking at me intently parang they want me to know that they are interested.

"As we all know, I'm dreaming to go to La Salle, right?" They nodded. Ni wala man lang akong narinig na side comments from them, knowing it's their rival school. "Pero simula nung nakitrain ako sa team niyo, I feel like Ateneo is my home. Yung feeling na parang ang tagal ko na dito even though I'm just here for two weeks pa lang."

"Alam mo, Bea. Ganyan din ako before. Ang daming issues ang tinapon sakin for choosing Ateneo than staying in UST. Pero ang totoo? I never choose. It's just that parang tapos na yung mission ko sa UST and I need to serve another school naman and Ateneo is my dream school since bata palang. Alam kong dito ako mas magggrow kaya I accepted Ateneo's offer. Pero I still love UST, pareho kong mahal kaya for me hindi naman ako pumili." Ate Ly shared.

"It's not a matter of choosing naman. I guess, as long you pay respect for both schools, wala kang ginagawang masama." Ate Den said.
