GAME 30

AC's POV

Days have past, weeks and even months. Iniwasan ko si Beatriz. It's been four months. I don't know if it's right or not, but I'm doing this to save myself from drowning.

I don't know kung ramdam niya. Di ko alam kung may pakialam siya. But, what I know is wala siyang ginagawa.

We are like dormers. We are living under the same roof pero hindi masyadong nag-uusap. After training, either sasabay siya sa team to eat breakfast and dinner or sometimes she's with her friends.

I always excuse myself na I'll do something important about acads kaya hindi ako nakakajoin. I often go home late, sometimes I go sa library or sometimes sa cafes. Sometimes I'm alone or sometimes I'm with my blockmates or friends. Morning before training kapag sabay kaming nagigising and kumakain, my laptop is always on as if I'm busy. I'm doing my OJT now kaya mas may excuse ako.

Good thing UAAP season is ongoing kaya she's busy also. Kung dati palagi akong nanunuod ng games, this time barely.

Academics ang lagi kong excuse sa management and good thing they understand. Usually sa TV or laptop lang ako nanunuod, but I always make sure to watch their games para I'm always updated.

I know I promise myself to be with Bea most of the time whatever it takes, especially if she needs me. Pero hindi naman ata masama magpahinga kahit saglit lang. At least I know, she's still doing fine.

Sabi ni ate Jho and Bea, they are just friends nalang pero there are times pa rin sa games na nagiging sweet sila, especially kapag crucial games. Halata rin na nag-iiwasan pa sila kahit papano pero hindi na unlike dati. Alam kong it's normal, but it hurts.

"Ate Els, sige na kasi." Ate Jho convinces ate Ella.

"Di nga pwede. May work ako niyan baka masisante ako, Jhoana." Ate Ella declined.

Remember the libre thingy that ate Jho promised? Yung kapag nakamove on siya we will go outing? Ito na yun. And yes, she already moved on.

"Eh pano to? Naggastos ako sa wala?" Nakasimangot na tanong ni ate Jho.

"Edi kayong dalawa. Ilibre mo nalang ako ng pagkain and pasalubungan na rin." Ate Ella demanded. Siya na nga tong hindi sasama, may pabilin pa. Lakas talaga.

"Pano accommodation mo sa hotel? Yung bayad ko sa package for you?" Ate Jho asked again and pinakita niya yung hawak niyang stub for ate Els.

"Akin na. Akong bahala." Ate Ella gets the stub and smiles at us.

We'll go to Baler and I'm really excited. This is the escape that I've been waiting for and after this trip, diretso kami ng parents ko sa Spain for the holy week. Malayo sa sakit. Malayo sa mahal ko.

Nagplan lang kami ni ate Jho ng gagawin namin and pinapaiinggit lang namin si ate Els and obviously she's starting to get envy already.

Wednesday's night, nasa bahay ako kasama si ate Jho and hindi na kami natulog because 12mn ang alis namin papuntang Baler dahil gusto naming maabutan ang sunrise. Good thing our driver will drive us hanggang sa destination na pagsusunduan samin ng service ng resort kaya it's not hassle anymore.

When we entered the car, Bea is sitting there already na para bang bagot na bagot na at kanina pa naghihintay.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" I asked.
