AC's POV
Sumama ako kila ate Kiwi for the BVR on tour in Legazpi. Ate Kiwi is going through something kasi. Kakabreak lang nila ni Pongs more than a month ago.
I try commentating with their games para na rin tulungan si ate Kassie pero naggive up lang din ako kasi nakakatuyo ng lalamunan.
Kakatapos lang ng game nila ate Ki and ate Gi, they're partners. Natalo sila, but it's not a big deal naman. That was their first beach volleyball game together kaya hindi pa masyadong naggi-gel.
Nag-uusap-usap kami sa sidelines habang naghihintay ng turn nila ate Bea and ate Cha. Ate Ki is always smiling pero mararamdaman mo na hindi siya abot sa mata.
Pinagkaguluhan pa nga sila ng mga fans, especially ate Ki nung pahapon na kasi labasan na rin ng mga students.
When ate Bea and ate Cha is playing, umulan kahit ang init-init kanina. And I really admire them kasi tuloy pa rin ang game. Rain or shine as they say.
Malapit na maggabi nung nagpakwento ako kay ate Ki about what happened. Alam ko na ang side ni Ponggay and I understand her. Kaya this time, I wanna know ate Ki's side naman.
Hindi ko kwinento sa kanila yung side ni Ponggay kasi wala naman akong right. I'm here to comfort her and not to take sides.
Umiyak si ate Ki kaya umupo ako sa lap niya while facing her to cover her face. For sure people will notice and it's not a good thing.
Alam kong bibigyan ng malisya ng ibang tao ang position namin, but who cares? Normal lang naman samin to since we're like sisters.
I comforted her katulad ng pagcomfort ko sa kay Beatriz before.
"So, which side you'll take?" Tanong ni ate Gi na nakangiti. I'm pretty sure she's not serious though.
"I will never take sides, ate Gi."
"We never know what will happen soon, but I know you'll go through this one. We got you." I pat ate Ki's shoulder and she smiles at me. "We'll talk later, aye?" And she nodded.
Naglakad ako sa table na pinaglalagyan ng gamit namin to drink water pero someone approaches me.
"Pwede po paautograph and picture?" She's smiling at me. I'm confuse because I'm not even a player.
"Me? Sure ka?" She nodded kaya kinuha ko yung notebook niya.
"Pasabi na rin po kay Bea De Leon, hi and belated happy birthday." Sabi niya after taking selfie of us.
"Gusto mo tawagan natin para makausap mo? Kaya lang I'm not sure if she'll pick it up, baka nasa training na." Kinuha ko yung phone ko na nasa pocket.
"Okay lang po." Her smile grew wider kaya napangiti rin ako.
Hanggang Bicol abot ang charisma ng isang Bea De Leon.
I'm dialing Bea's number while signing her notebook.
"Oh?" Bea answered after few rings.
