SPECIAL CHAPTER 2

AC's POV

"Hi mommy!" A gorgeous kid is running to my direction right after I went out from my cubicle.

"Hey, baby!" I can't help but to flash a sweet smile to her. She's just too adorable. "Where's my kiss?"

She returns back the smile so I lower down for her to reach my lips.

My babies hugs and kisses can really reenergize me quickly after a long tiring day.

"How's school?"

"Fine!" She simply answered after grabbing jar of cookies on my table.

I'm quite sure hindi niya na ako papansinin with all the cookies she has. I can even see from here how her eyes shine when she opens the jar. Takaw!

"Nice! Just because may baby ka na ngayon, kakalimutan mo na na may isa ka pang baby? " My smiles widen when I saw my other baby holding a pink Disney trolley.

"Ow! Kumusta ang pagsundo kay Athena, love? Nakakapagod 'no?" I walked closer to her. "Sorry, maghapon ka pa namang nakahiga dito sa clinic. I'm sure a 15-minute drive to pick your daughter from school drains you." Sarcastic kong sabi, forcing myself not to laugh.

Sino ba naman ang hindi matatawa? Just imagine a 5'11 girl holding a pink trolley while pouting. What a cutie, right?

I playfully pinched her nose then nilampasan siya.

I heard her groan while putting the bag on the couch.

Kung makaarte to, akala mo naman hindi kami nagkita buong maghapon. When if fact, she's here sa clinic throughout the day, umalis lang to pick up Athena.

She sitted next to Athena, still making face to me.

So I went to her, gave her a quick kiss on the lips and then messed her hair. "Thank you though." I whisper sincerely.

"Anything! May iuutos ka pa ba? I want more kiss, eh. Sweeter than this one." Kumuha siya ng cookies sa jar na hawak ni Athena, making the latter threw her a dagger look.

"That's mine, dada!" Athena reacted.

"You baked this?" Pilosopong sagot ni Beatriz sa bata.

Athena shook her head.

"Not yours then." Sagot ulit ni Beatriz while munching a whole cookie.

"Mariae bought that!"

"It's ate Mariae, Athena." Bea corrected her since she's already starting to teach her some Pinoy culture. "Still not yours, kid."

"But that's my mom's money." She still not giving up.

"And she's my wife, baby." This time, Beatriz is grinning to her.

"Whatever! I hate you!" Umusog ito away from Bea at inilayo yung jar.

Athena and Beatriz, they're like the new partners in crime now. Magkasundo sa lahat ng bagay, except food and even to my attention.

"Okay! That's enough, girls." I needed to stop them or else hanggang mamaya, hindi yan mag-uusap. "We better get going. Night out Friday, remember?"

And on cue, sabay silang tumayo sa pagkaka-upo.

Our own definition kasi ng Night out Friday is they can buy whatever they want so long na it's reasonable. Either food or anything else.

"Buffet!" Sabay nilang sigaw at nag-high five pa.

Kung madalas silang mag-away because of food, yun din ang isa sa mga bagay na pinagkakasunduan nila.

It's been 2 years since the bar thing, the night I saw Beatriz after a long time.

It happened na Edmund and Binni planned that night.

Ed, Binni and Bea are communicating from time to time pala. The reason why Ed was acting like he really likes me infront of other people, hie way para bakuran ako for Beatriz.

When my parents gave up looking for her. Edmund never give up.

He learnt na Bea's traveling with Binni. So he did everything he can to locate them.

Athena is already in my life that time. But he managed not to give any information about her. He's update on what's happening about Bea pero limited ang information na binibigay niya to them about me.

Binni contacted him when they're planning going here in US kaya double time din si Edmund na pilitin akong lumabas with them. When he successfully did, that's also the time na nasa US na rin sila Bea.

Edmund was scared. He's afraid on what will gonna happen if ever magkita kami ni Beariz pero he's more scared on what will happen if we didn't.

The blueberry cheesecake from the cafe? Bea bought that for me. She's there, almost from a far, watching. Kaya pala ang lakas ng loob ni Ed na ipakain sakin yun.

Napangiti ako when Beateriz parked the car. We are here, in Grand Cafe, where Bea first saw me after so long.

"Yey! Steak!" Masayang sigaw ni Athena.

She unbuckles her seatbelt right away.

When we thought tatakbo na siya palabas, she never did.

She rather went to us, sa front seat. "I love you, mommy. I love you, dada." She said and gave us the sweetest kiss we can ever have.
