AC's POV
May biglang pumasok sa loob ng kwarto ko without knocking. Walang iba, yes! It's Bea.
"Uso katok. What if I'm undress?" Mataray kong sabi pero parang wala lang sa kanya. Dire-diretso lang siyang humiga sa couch ko.
"Pakialam ko dyan." She flashes her normal wide smile pero alam ko na ang ibig sabihin nito.
"So, what's the good news?" Napaupo siya bigla sa couch after hearing what I said.
"How did you know?" Nakataas ang isang kilay niya this time.
"Duh! Spill it, tagal." Instead of speaking, she handed me an envelope.
"You passed? OH MY GOD!" I shouted habang nakatingin sa letter na ibinigay niya.
Kahapon pa kasi dumating yung letter ko from Ateneo congratulating me for passing the ACET. Bea starting to lose her hope kasi wala sa kanyang pinadalang letter.
"When I entered our house mom gave me that. I was so nervous, but when I opened and read it. OMG! I can't help, but hug dad tightly. Nagtampo pa nga si mom because she's the one who handed it to me pero si dad agad ang niyakap ko." Ramdam na ramdam ko ang saya niya habang nagkkwento.
"Aw, pwede bang makahingi rin ng hug from this daddy's big girl?" I smile as she hugs me tightly, smelling her fresh flowery scent. "I'm so happy for you."
"I'm so happy for us." She kisses my forehead, making my eyes close automatically.
Our parents decided to eat dinner together. Gusto kasi nila tita magcelebrate. Mom and tita Det cooked at De Leon's.
"AC decided to stay. We're planning to get her a condo near Ateneo para hindi na siya mahassle." Dad answered when tito Elmer asked regarding my plan for college.
"Yeah, para naman hindi na siya mastress because of traffic. Instead of waking up early to avoid traffic, pwede niya pa yun itulog." It was my mom na sinang-ayunan naman ni tita Det.
"They're right, dad. What if let's get Bei a condo nalang din?"
"Bea can stay with AC. At least, we're at peace kapag sila ang magkasama." Mom suggested. I'm trying to absorb things, Bea and I will stay in one roof together. Are they kidding?
"I like it better. Let's just get a big one nalang so we can visit and stay there from time to time. AC can control Bea naman so I have nothing to worry."
They continue exchanging suggestions. Hindi na ako nakinig because I'm visualizing our setup. Sa sobrang gulo namin ni Bea together, I don't think it's a good idea.
"Pano ba yan? We'll be housemates soon." Nasa couch na ako ngayon ng receiving area nila Bea since tapos na kaming magdinner then she sits beside me.
"Yeah. I need to be ready. For sure magkakasawaan na tayo niyan." I kidd though gusto kong sabihin sa kanya na parang ayaw ko ng magcondo.
"Sus! If I know, ikaw ang nagrequest nun kay tita para makita mo ako every day." She teases me, making my eyeballs rolling.
"Yuck! Ito lang ngang we're living two blocks away from each other sawa na ako sayo. What more if we are already living under the same roof? Cringe." Tumawa siya sa sinabi ko kahit wala namang nakakatawa.
Pero honestly speaking, I really don't like the idea. Umiiwas ako sa kanya ilang araw na to get rid of my unusual feeling towards her. Pero I think, destiny like playing games with me.
