Opening the front door to Elena's house, there was an odd aroma of meats and sauces in the air. Jeremy was in the living room by the time I cross the hall, and Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena were in the kitchen cooking.

"Mmm...who's making mystery meat?" I said as I made eye contact with Bonnie.

"Bonnie! You're back." I blurted out.

"Hey!"

Running over, we hugged each other tightly before taking a seat on the island counter.

"So, how was your summer?" I asked her.

"A lot more interesting than yours. The problem with my dad's normal side of the family is normal made for a really boring summer."

"Well, after the last few days, I would kill for a normal family," I whispered.

"Since when did you learn for to cook?" Caroline whispered to Elena as the both of them poured the chili into a crockpot.

"Damon helped a little."

"Damon's helping you cook now?" Bonnie asked.

"He's a really good cook," I added.

"Both of you stop judging. He's just trying to be a good-, OW!"

"Did I splash you?" Caroline asked.

"Ah! No, no, my necklace." Elena blurted out, as she took a step back lifting the necklace up to reveal a round burned mark on her chest.

"It burned me."

"Maybe it's a sign you shouldn't be wearing it."

"Caroline..."

"What, I'm just saying." She whispered.

Looking over at Elena, I couldn't help but feel hesitant and anxious all at the same time as she tried to figure out what was wrong.

"You know if you're going to be 'cooking' without Stefan."

"Let see it," I asked Elena as she places the necklace in my hand that's when I felt a large bolt of energy through my body followed by blurry images.

'I only wore the necklace for a thousand years...'

'She had a daughter named Scarlett Blackwell...'

'A Hybrid out to make more Hybrids?'

'I'm sure Rebekah will track her down.'

"Lauren?"

"Lauren?!" Caroline yelled, knocking right out of the vision.

"What did you see?"

Staring at the necklace, I glance over at Elena, who looked a little worried.

"I heard voices...I heard a woman, and Klaus, I think? But, um...the necklace, it's being search for."

"Searched? By who?"

"I don't know..." I whispered.

"What are you not telling us?" Bonnie said.

Sighing quietly, I held the pendant between my fingers and remembering the last time I saw this necklace.

"I saw this necklace about 90 years ago, I was in Boston at the time...the owner was a friend of mine."

"Do you remember who's it was?"

"...Rebekah, Klaus' younger sister." I whispered.

"She's alive?"

"I don't know. But Stefan gave me this necklace about a few months after he found me in New Orleans, told me it would keep me from turning it off."
