The Life Of a Teenage Girl.

Chapter 19

"Felix!" I yelled as I ran up to him and hugged him.
He hugged me back as we both laughed.
"It's been awhile Green." He ruffled my hair as I elbowed his side.
"So where is everybody?" I asked.
I needed sometime with Felix. A talk and a real talk. I haven't seen him since like forever. I guess we both have our own business to do.
"My mom is still at work and George is probably somewhere that I don't care about." He rested his head on the pillow.
His mom was a busy worker trying to get money to survive on life. She was a business woman and Felix never really got to see her a lot, but my father was the worst one. I haven't seen him in months now. George is his stepfather and Felix dosn't like him. He always judges Felix on his relationship with guys. That's how me and Felix became friends. We had a lot in common on our life.
"So skater, what's happening?"
"Besides from all that cancer stuff I'm doing alright I guess." I shrugged.
Yes, he knew that my mom has cancer.Everyone did by now.
"You know what we need!" He jumped to his feet.
"What?" I asked as I moved a piece of hair out of my face.
"Candy! Candy! Lots and lots of candy!" He cheered as I cheered with him.
"I'll be back!" He shouted as he went downstairs.
I laid back and closed my eyes.

FLASHBACK
I was walking through the school as I saw everybody talking or whispering about me. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my book bag tighter. It's only the first day. What could go wrong? I bumped into somebody as I saw this girl. She was very pretty. Blonde hair with sparkly eyes and great sense of fashion with a killer body!
"New girl right?" She placed a hand in front of her as we shook hands.
"Helena." I smiled as she did too.
I could see she wasn't a sluty girl or a bully to anybody. She was like that nice popular girl that said hi to nerds everyday. To everybody.
"I like your top with your pants. It's simple and cute. Love it! Were best friends now!" She took my hand and led me down the hall as everybody's mouth dropped at our hands.
I smiled at them as we went to class.

I sighed as I walked into the classroom. Everybody's eyes turned to us as they whistled or talked.
"Layla please take a seat and you are?" The teacher said.
"Helena." I gave a half smile.
Well I know her name now.
"Class this is a new student name Helena Green please make her welcome and Helena don't start trouble." He said harshly.
I knew I wasn't gonna like this one.
I shyly passed seats and ignored the whistles as I sat down in an empty seat.
I took my pen out and payed attention to the board , but got really bored.
I turned to see a guy next to me.
He seemed cool to talked to.
"Hi, I'm Joshua. You can call me Josh."
We both smiled at eachother.
Somehow we started talking in whispers and laughed at stuff we both said. Layla joined in too and we all laughed.
"Layla, Josh, Helena!"
We all laughed again. Harder.

I was walking to the yard as I saw a girl sitting down by a tree. She held a penny board in her hand and a book on the other. I walked up to her.
"Hi!"
She looked up at me and smiled.
"Your the new girl. Elena right?" She looked confused.
"I'm Helena actually."
"Opps my baddd." We both laughed as she motioned me to sit down.
We both talked till our free period was over. We really hit it off that day.
As soon to came I found out that the tree girl was named Kayla.
After free period I was walking home then bumped into a man. He was cute! Brown curly hair with green eyes. He had some muscle too!
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"Yep." My voice went higher.
"I'm Felix." We shook hands as I explained that I was the new girl.
"Everybody's talking about how your friends with Layla! Your huge!"
I gave him a confused look.
"News travels fast around here."
I nodded.
"Felix!" Another boy yelled.
The boy kissed his cheek as Felix smiled.
My heart dropped. Felix was gay!
Dam it! Why does it always have to be the gay guys! Yes I had a crush on Felix when I first met him. Crazy huh? Well the four best friends became my four best friends today. Yea I made friends with others, but this was my favorite type of people to hang with.
Then I thought. Maybe school isn't bad as I thought.

FLASHBACK ENDED

"I'm back!" Felix yelled as I saw a bunch of junk food in his hand.
I laughed as he set them down neatly.
"Mean girls?" He asked as he held up the original and the new one.
"Original. It's way better than the new one." We both nodded in agreement.
"And who dosn't love Rachel and Lindsey?" He put the movie in as it started.
I opened a bag of candy.
"Speak." He demanded.
I sighed.
"I'm scared." I admitted as I took a hand full of candy and put it in my mouth. Or more like stuffed it.
"Why?"
I looked down for a moment before looking to his eyes.
"I'm falling for Tyler each and each day and I think it's getting stronger."
He gasped.
"So girl? That's good!" He clapped.
"No." I took the ice cream and took out the spoon as It filled up with the cream.
"What!" He was looking at me like I was crazy.
"I'm scared that- look I can't just love again after to what happened to Duke."
I felt tears coming to the end of my eyes , but I blinked them away.
"I know you loved Duke and all, but he would of wanted you to find somebody else that you can love. And if you like Tyler then why not? I know he would said this."
He was right...
That sounded just like Duke. I miss him too much. His smell. Touch. Softness. My protecter was just gone.
His midnight hair with his deep hazeled eyes with his good perfect jaw with his football skills.
He was a gentleman.
"Hey it's okay." Felix said and hugged me as I cried.
I let it all out. I tried to be strong, but I failed and you know what... I hated it!
I hate being weak.
It was like everyone was strong, but then there's the girl who's always weak.
My sobs filled the room as I grabbed Felix's shirt and cried into it.
"I'm sorry. I'm not like this. I'm sorry."
I pulled away.
It felt like I cried for hours.
I wiped my tears as I sat up.
"It's okay to let your feelings out Helena. Everyone lets there feelings out once in awhile." He rubbed my back as he said this.
His words made me feel much better.
"Helena, smile. Your making me feel bad."
I looked at him.
"Well if it makes you feel any better, I used to have a crush on you."
His eyes widened.
"Really?"
"Really!"
"When?"
"When we first met."
Then we both laughed. We both laughed for a long time.
"You know if I wasn't gay maybe I would of dated you."
I smiled and rolled my eyes.
"Awww." I said as he laughed.
I payed attention to Amanda's voice on the movie as a flashback came to me.

I walked through the crowd of people as they cheered. I finally found the girls as I met up with them with a smile.
"Helena!" They both ran up and hugged me as I laughed.
It was my third day here and we were best friends already. Can you BELIVE that!
"Girl it's about time!" Kayla said and smacked my arm.
"Yea and Helena I have someone you want to meet before the game starts."
I looked on the field. The game was about to start. She was right.
"Hurry!" She grabbed my arm as we push passed the people.
"Exuse me." I mumbled as I brushed a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Helena this is Duke and Duke this is Helena A.K.A new girl."
I met with the most beautiful hazel eyes ever! He had midnight hair and a strong jawline. His smile was bright and big. He held a football in his hand.
"Hi nice to meet you." I finally said after looking at the hot god.
"Hey."
I would of blushed of how deep and husky his voice was.
"The game is starting!" Layla gushed as she saw the players.
"Layla!" A guy said.
She cheered as they hugged and made out? Me and Duke stood there awkwardly as we watched them.
"This is awkward." We both said.
We both turned and smile at each other.
They finally stopped and looked at us.
"Oh babe! This is Helena and Helena this is my boyfriend Brad."
He looked like a superstar I had to tell you. He had good looks, but not as good as Duke. My opinion. His eyes read 'player' all over it. I didn't like this guy already. I faked a smile as he kissed my hand.
I akwardly pulled back and held my purse close to me.
"Good luck guys!" I said to Duke and Brad.
"Well I don't believe in luck. I believe in talent." Brad said as Duke rolled his eyes with mine.
"I'll see you around next time." He smiled at me as he ran off.
We both made it back to Kayla as we both sat.
"How was it?" Kayla ask.
"I think Helena had a crush on Duke." Layla smirked as Kayla gushed.
"Look at him! He's a babe!" We all laughed.
"Hey! He is good looking, but he had a nice personality."
They both smiled.
"Well if it helps I think he had a crush oh you too." Layla whispered in my ear.
"Please. Don't get my hopes up."
But  I then thought does he?
The whole time my eyes were on number five. I just couldn't take my eyes off of him.

I smiled thinking about the first time I met him.
"There's the smile!" Felix said as I laughed.
We both just sat there eating dessert and junk food as we watched the movie and talked.
The question was....
Will these flashbacks ever leave?
