Chapter 49
I was really nervous. It looked like the world really hated me right now.
It probably does, Helena.
I shook my head at my thoughts.
All my friends or ex-friends or whatever was going to talk to me.
It seemed like all the bad shit was coming back to me. When could I possibly have a great day or a great time?
Never!
"What's going on?" He asked. His blue eyes looked into my green ones.
I shook my head and looked down, biting my lip until it could possibly bleed.
"I don't know. Maybe I should ask the same question to you." I shot back.
He looked offended a little but I realized that he shooked it off. A serious expression crossed his face.
"Helena don't bullshit with me. Ever since two weeks ago, you started to act the opposite of you. Now your hanging out with Lilly-"
"Just stop!" I yelled and cut him off.
He looked at me with widened eyes.
"Stop." I whispered this time.
"Can I finally have a chance to talk?! The only one that gets me right now is Kayla! I acted like 'the opposite of me' because you guys have been keeping secrets from me and if I can't find out what it is, then I can't be with you guy's anymore."
He looked at me with sad eyes.
"Helena but you don't understand. It's not like were doing anything bad behind your back. It's a secret because it's-"
He stopped himself before he could say anything else.
I raised a brow. "No, what were you going to say?" I asked him.
He shook his head and looked at my eyes. "Helena I can't tell. It's a secret. I was told too and I wished that I could cause were really fighting over a stupid thing-"
"It's not a stupid thing!" I said.
"All my friends are keeping something behind my back! You, Kayla, Layla, Britney, Allie, even Ray!"
I backed up a little so I could be at least a few feet from him.
I finally looked him right in the eyes. "I really want to know what's going on between all of you guys."
My eyes started to sting with tears. Suck it up Helena. Your a strong girl.
"Your the strongest girl I've ever met." Moms words came into my head.
"I- I-" Tyler stuttered.
I bit my lip and shook my head. I closed my eyes and let out a shaky sigh.
"So your not going to tell me?"
He shuffled a little bit.
"Great! That's fucking great!" I yelled.
I was angry and sad. All these emotions I didn't know I was hiding was just coming back to me.
"Helena." Tyler started to say and shuffled towards me but backed away and walked out of history class.
I ran into the girls bathroom.
The door busted opened and I dropped my bag to the floor making a loud 'thump.'
My hands gripped the side of the sink as I looked at myself in the mirror.
"Suck it up, Helena!" I said.
