Chapter 45

"Ugh this class is so boring." Lilly said as she keep taping her nails against the desk.

"I know, hopefully we leave in a while." I said looking at the clock.

"Good." She mumbled.

I looked at Josh and Layla who were whispering about something. Probably me.

I felt bad that I yelled at them and everything but I was hurt.

Hurt by them and hurt by other things in life too.

I guess it just took over..

As I thought and looked over at them Lilly was looking at them too.

"Those are your friends right?" Lilly asked as she looked over at Josh and Lay.

"I don't know.." I said.

She gave me a confused look.

"Why?"

I sighed. "You don't have to-"

She started to say but I cut her off by telling her anyway.

"Well there all hiding something from me and apparently I can't know. I'm there friend so I deserve to know! Even my damn boyfriend.." I whispered the last part.

"That's sucks. There not your friend if there lying to you." She said and bit down on her finger.

"I know but what do you think? Like do you think they have a good reason?" I asked her.

She shrugged. "Maybe but hey, it depends on your opinion. Everyone had there differences."

I nodded and pursed my lips.

She then looked at Layla again confused.

"What?" I asked her. She looked at me.

"What?"

"What is that expression on your face?" I asked her.

She bit her lip. "She looks like a person I know."

"That's Layla." I pointed out.

"That's Josh."

She then narrowed her eyes at the back of there heads and she glared at Layla's head.

"I know her now! She's my boyfriends ex."

I nodded. "He was a dick to her though."

She then gave me a glare.

Opps.

"Sorry but it's true."

She didn't say anything and squirmed in her seat as she looked at the clock.

She then turned to me smirking.

"You seem really cool. We should hang out or something."

I nodded. "Yea, when?"

She shrugged then instantly smiled. "How about we both hang out after school."

I thought about it. "Sure."

She smiled. "It's official then."

I looked back at the board at the teacher who was putting words on there from here to there.

I wrote some of them down as did Lilly. She sighed.

"Do you cheer?"

"Nope. I'm more of a basketball girl or something like that."

I use to do basketball here but thought of quitting since Duke died.

But then they cut it off since of the budget. Oh well.
