Chapter 44

>>>>

I walked back home and saw dad leaning against the counter with a cup in his hands filled with liquid.

"You came back already? Anyway how was the walk?" He asked.

"Just fine." I grumbled and ran upstairs with Cody.

I quickly shut my door and leaned against the wall.

I sighed as my hand ran through my hair.

"What the hell was she thinking?!" I whispered to myself.

She's so stupid at times!! Why would she go and kiss that devil?!

I didn't want to see her face in the morning nor any day.

I'm just gonna have to keep ignoring her.

I looked at Cody who was already looking at me.

"I wish you would talk so I can have answers. A talking dog would be good." I chuckled.

Cody whined as he stretched out against the floor.

"Come on boy. Let's go to sleep."

He jumped onto my bed as I laid under the sheets and looked up at the ceiling.

I didn't even try to brush my teeth. Whatever, I'll do it tomorrow..

What a day...

~~~
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
I groaned as I felt something wet on my face.
I opened my eyes to see Cody on top of me, licking my face.
"Ugh, Cody!" I groaned.
I felt my hand push the alarm clock as I pushed Cody of me gently.
"Go play with Carly, she's probably up already."
I opened the door as he walked out.
I dragged myself to the bathroom as I brushed my teeth and did what I had to do.
I went back and got out my clothes and decided to wear what I shopped for yesterday.
I brushed my hair and left it down as I put a beanie on top of my head.
I put my books in my bag and carried it down stairs hoping Jen wouldn't be there.
Thankfully she wasn't in the kitchen.
Dad was reading the newspaper and he was the one cooking.
"Your up early." I said as I laid my bag down near the wooden chair and poured myself some orange juice. Oj! My friend!
"Yea, well, Jen said she was busy and she had something to do this morning. She's been acting weird like everyone else here."
He looked up from the news paper and raised a brow at me.
I slowly grabbed some bacon and slowly chewed on it.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"What was that yesterday?" He asked me.
"What about yesterday-"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about."
I sighed. "You want to know the truth?"
