Chapter 22

LONG CHAPTER WHOO WHOO!

My phone ranged as I quickly turned It on and pressed answer.

"Hello." I said as I held it between my shoulders.

"Oh. I didn't think you wouldn't answer." A deep husky voice said through the phone.

"Tyler?"

"Yea. Did I wake you?"

"No. Not at all."

"But it's sunrise."

"I couldn't sleep." I answered honestly.

I really couldn't. I have been having nightmares about Duke.

There been getting better though for these past couple of days.

"Why are you awake?" I asked.

A moment of silence was all I heard.

"Well, I got woken by my siblings who are vampires."

I laughed as I ran a hand through my hair.

"You should feed them before they start sucking on your blood." I joked.

He scoffed.

"Anyway are you free today?"

My heart skipped a beat.

Was I free today? Right I was! Well now!

"Yes."

"Good." His voice was filled with hope.

"Um why?" I asked.

"Well my friend is coming down today and wants to meet you. So I wonder why won't you come today."

"Um s-"

Wait. Is this friend a girl friend. As in a friend as a girl but 'girlfriend ' or 'ex?'

"It's a girl or his ex." Layla's voice came.

"Helena, you okay there?"

I realized I haven't been talking in a while.

"Oh yea."

Then I realized I had a day with the girls.

I groaned.

"I'm sorry. I just realized that today I was going to have girl time with the girls."

"Oh." His voice broke as he was disappointed.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

My eyes widened as a plan came to mind.

"I got an idea!" I said.

"What?"

"What about if I can convince the girls to come?" I said.

I heard moving through the phone.

"That will be great if you can."

I smiled.

"I'll call you if it works out."

I could imagine that smirk on his face.

"That's cool."

"And be ready by ten." He added.

"I will."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up as I put my head in my hands.

They better not mess this up for me and Tyler. I want to spend some time with him too.
