Chapter 20

"Guess who it is." I heard a person whisper in my ear as there hands went over my eyes.
That whisper made me shiver. There was only one person who can do that.
"Babe!" I cheered as I turned and hugged him.
"Aw. How did you know it was me?"
I laughed.
"Well um how did you get in my room?" I asked and my brow raised.
"Yea. Well your mom let me in or maybe I just climbed up the window like a knight and shinning armor to save his beautiful princess."
I shook my head smiling as I hugged him.
"Your the best. You know that?" He smiled as he kissed me.
The kiss was a sweet passionate one.
"Let's go."
"Wait where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see." He smirked.
That cocky smirk!
He wrapped a bandana around my eyes.
"Can you see?" He asked.
"Nope! It's dark! Very dark!"
He chuckled as I felt my body moved and my feet pushing towards a direction.
"Your not gonna take me to an ally and kill me right?" I asked.
"Maybe."
"Hey!" I found his arm as I slapped it.
"Ow!" I heard him rubbing his arm.
"Yea, yea, keep walking-"
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, swimming." He sang.
We laughed as we both started to sing it.
"Best movie ever. Well best animation movie ever." He mumbled.
"That's not true! Yes it was a good movie, but it's not my favorite."
"Whatever floats in your boat."
He kissed the top of my head as I giggled.
"Are we there yet?" I asked.
He scoffed.
"Were not even half way there yet!"
I huffed and sighed.
After a few more and more walks we finally made a stop.
"Finally." I mumbled under my breath.
"Wait for it." I heard him say as he pushed me a little more.
I felt a huge breeze go over and under my coat as I felt goose bumps form on my arms.
"Your cold?"
"A little." I answered.
I felt a huge muscle of body come behind me and hugged me.
"Is that better?" He whispered in my ear making me shiver again.
"Much better." I titled my head up and we kissed.
Sadly it was short.
"Okay. Happy Anniversary!" He cheered as he took the bandana off.
I gasped.
My eyes lit up at the scene that was in front of me.
It was a very nature scenery. Everything green. There was blankets on the floor and all sorts of food. What made it special was candles everywhere. I noticed candles in a straight line saying 'happy anniversary Helena'. I smiled as I turned to him.
"Thank you." I kissed him as it lasted for a few minutes.
"Where did you get this?" I asked him as we pulled away.
"Oh. Well my father decided this actually since this was his first date with my mother." He held onto my hand as we started to walk to the scene.
"Henry is something." I mumbled as he laughed.
"Let's eat!" He cheered.
We talked, laughed while we ate the delicious food.
"This is so beautiful." I said with a huge smile on my face.
He poked my dimple as I giggled.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
"Of course! Why wouldn't I?! It's so simple and beautiful!" I gushed.
He held my hands and took a deep breath.
"Helena I-" he stopped at his sentence.
"What's the matter?" I asked him.
He looked like he wanted to say something.
"We should just pack up the rest and go home." I frowned but nodded.
As we packed up in silence all I could think about was what did he wanted to say? I was confused. So confused.
As we walked back to the road he stopped and dropped the bag.
"Uh-"
"Fuck it." He mumbled.
He grabbed my face with both of his hands and looked into my eyes.
"Helena-"
He gulped as he closed his eyes and opened them again.
"Helena, I l-"
I heard a beep as I turned and my eyes widened.
"Helena!" He screamed my name, but I wouldn't move.
"Helena!" I keep hearing my name again.
I just froze. I came back to mind as I was pushed and I flew into the ground.
I closed my eyes as I felt blood trickle down my head. My vision got blurry as I tried to see him.
"Du-" I tried to scream but nothing can't be heard.
I opened my eyes to see a car and no him.
"What?" I mumbled.
I stumbled as I fell on the hood of the car. I turned my head to see what was behind the car. I slowly limped my way around the car. My eyes widened as tears came to my eyes.
"No. No. No. No! No! No!" I screamed.
I cried as my vision blurred with my tears as I fell to my knees.
"I'm sorry!" The driver said as he looked down.
He got out his phone and called 911.
My life was over...

I woke up screaming as I jumped up.
I looked around the room as I ran a hand through my sweaty hair. Tears came down my face as quickly wiped them.
I looked at the time and saw that I needed to go to school. I got up as I went to my dresser. I opened a box and smiled. The box. I looked for the key as I found it and opened the box. I smiled as some more tears came down my face. I took the picture out as I looked at it. Today was our anniversary. We never even said I loved you to each other. I kissed the picture as I quickly closed the box and put it back inside and closed my dresser. I went to the bathroom and washed my face, brushed my teeth, and did what I had to do. I quickly put on my eyeliner and walked out of the bathroom. I got changed into a basic red shirt that showed my waist a little and put on my skinny black jeans. I twisted the side of my hair and pulled them back as I tied them up and let it down. I smiled at my work. I quickly put my lip balm on and my jacket as I grabbed the picture and my bookbag.
I went downstairs to see Carly with Cody.
"Hey. Where's Jen?" I asked.
"She's at the store getting some groceries."
I nodded.
I grabbed an orange and cut it into four pieces as I split it for me and her.
"Oranges?"
I looked at her.
"And?"
She scowled at me.
"You know I hate-"
"Yes, yes now eat your oranges missy." I rolled my eyes.
She hesitantly grabbed it and took a small bite as the juice went down her mouth.
"It's squishy." She shrugged and wiped her mouth.
"Did you do your homework?"
"Yes. I did in fact."
I gasped.
"That's hard to BELIVE."
"Be quiet!" She stamped her foot down on the floor as I laughed.
I started laughing a bit too hard that I fell out of my seat.
I face palmed as she covered her mouth, giggles coming out.
"AHHAHA!" She started to laugh.
She fell too as I started to laugh too.
Cody looked at us as he shook his head.
We both started to laugh.
We heard the door open as Jen stood there with a bag of food.
"Hey girls I'm-"
She looked at us like crazy.
"I brought you candy, but never mind that."
We both quickly ran to her.
"Please!" We both jumped.
"Nope!" She yelled as she hid the candy.
"No fair!"
"Helena, go to school and Carly let's go. Were late!"
She grabbed her hand as she grab her bookbag too.
"I fed Cody already." She whispered to me as I nodded.
I saw my board on the floor as I grabbed it.
"Bye! Have fun!" I shouted.
I put down my board and started to ride it.
Minutes later I was at school.
I put it down as I saw Brittney running towards me.
"We need a plan."
"What?!" I shouted.
"Um. That bit-"
"Look I already said I'm not getting In between you two."
"Fine!" She whined.
"But were talking about it at lunch!"
She walked off as I sighed.
"Guess who." I heard a deep voice.
The persons hands went over my face as i stood stiff.
"Helena?"
I turned to see Tyler.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
I took a deep breath.
"I don't know." I answered honestly.
"Wanna talk?"
"No thanks. Anyway have you seen trouble and double trouble?"
He pointed his thumb towards a direction he came from.
"I'm gonna talk to them real quick."
"Okay. I gotta talk to Josh."
I found them talking.
"Guys." I said as I ran up to them.
They both looked at me.
"It's the anniversary." I sated sadly as I looked at my hands.
"Oh Helena!" Layla ran to me as she hugged me so did Kayla.
I sniffed.
"Tyler did something similar to what Duke did." I twisted my hair.
"It just reminded me of him." I wiped my eyes as they looked at me sadly.
"Let's just get to class ." Kayla said as she rubbed my back.
I nodded.
Maybe I can forget about Duke and maybe start thinking of Tyler? Who knows.....

I updated. Srry for the long wait, but I can't decide what to do for my other book. Also I had a test today soo.....
Anyway! I'll update soon as possible and it will be longer and a better chapter. Plus Ray is coming soon. But when......?
