Chapter 48
I smiled sheepishly at Layla who was standing there with a shocked expression.
"Please don't yell at her. She's our best friend no matter what and she's here to tell you something." She glared at the floor.
She was mad at when I told her about Brad cheating on Layla before they broke up.
I'm pretty sure Layla could tell she was mad at something since she looked at her with a confused expression on her face.
"So are we going to stand here all day?" Kayla asked.
"Get your ass In there!" She pointed to the door.
I pursed my lips and went inside. We all went Into Layla's room.
I was so nervous that I think I almost fell when I went up the stairs.
I sighed and looked around the room.
I haven't been here in forever. Well it seemed like it. I actually missed this place.
I missed Layla and her mother. Her cookies...
I missed everything.
"What do you want to tell me?" Layla asked and crossed her arms.
"Please don't get mad-"
"For what?! For you being bitchy at us for doing nothing?!"
Kayla gasped as I looked down at my shoes.
"Layla! She dosn't know what were-" I couldn't hear after that she she whispered it in her ear.
My eyes trailer to them. What were they talking about? What were they planning?
They pulled away as they both stared at me.
"Look I probably did deserve that but I have some bad news for you."
She raised her brow at me with a glare in her eyes.
"I met Felix and Brad today while I was walking." I bit my lip and waited for her reaction.
Her eyes widened at her ex- boyfriend's name. She sucked in a breath and looked at me.
I continued.
"We were talking and he told me something. Something that your not going to like."
"What- what- what did he- say?" She asked as she stepped forwards.
I frowned. I looked at Kayla who nodded at me.
Here goes nothing...
"You know Lilly Peppermint?" She nodded as she made a nasty face at the name.
"Well he told me that he was sorry he did this. He always loved you Layla, remember. He just fell out of love so he..."
I couldn't look at her. I look at the wall instead.
"He cheated on you with her. They met before. That's why she came to this school, to be with Brad."
Her eyes widened as she raged with anger. "What?!"
Her eyes started to form tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry. Even though were not on best terms, I'll still do anything for you." I admitted.
Kayla smiled at me as she patted Layla's back.
She exhaled heavily as she sat down on her own bed.
"Why-why?" She stuttered.
I pursed my lips and decided to sit down next to her.
"I'm really sorry Layla-"
"I shouldn't be crying." She said as she shook her head.
