Chapter 58

"Carly be careful!" I yelled out as I saw Carly running around everywhere with two girls her age. She could trip and fall if she's having to much fun and dosn't know what's in front of her. Ugh..I sound just like my parents. I shook my head as I looked down to see Cody looking towards a person holding a hot dog in their hands. "So do you want to talk about it?" Ray asked beside me as I sighed. "I don't know but we might as well I mean." I shrugged my shoulders as he nodded. I looked up at Carly to see laughing with her beautiful hair in her face. I smiled seeing her being happy. I'm really glad that she's too young to understand what's going on in our family or even life. Of course she will when she gets older but I'm just thankful that she dosn't have to go threw what I am.

"Helena! Are you okay?" Ray asked as he snapped his fingers in front of my face. I nodded as my hand ran threw my hair. "Yea I'm just thinking." He nodded as he pursed his lips. I patted Cody's fur as he stuck his tongue out and his bright blue eyes looked forward, taking in the outside. "I talked to Tyler about what happened..that day." Ray admitted as he stuffed his hands inside his pickets. My head twisted to him as my eyes watched him. I think my neck turned so fast that I think my neck had cracked. "Oh really? Well..um what did he say?" I was waiting for an answer from Ray's mouth but I didn't hear anything. I looked up to see Ray thinking. Cody stopped as he looked up at Ray too, it was like Cody understood what we were talking about. He was such a smart dog after all. "He dosn't regret what happened but he does feel like you guys should of talked it out. I agree, I mean what happens if you guys never work this out? What happens if another girl gets him before you do Helena and it will be too late to start over. I know you both still have feeling for each other." Ray said.

I paused at his words and thought about them. He was so right! I mean one day if we never work things out, he will come to school with some new girl clinging onto his masculine arm and there will be me watching them with hurt eyes. What about if she started to steal away my friends too?! That bitch! I came back to reality as I looked down at Cody who was ruffling up the ground with his paws. Calm down Helena, no girl would ever steal Tyler away since you will have him first! I nodded confidently at my thoughts. "He really likes you Helena." Ray said. I nodded and smiled brightly. I then asked a serious question, "What is love Ray?" I asked him. Now this made him pause and stop as he stared at me with crazy eyes. "Lo-love- love?!" He stuttered as his eyes widened. I nodded and I licked my dry lips, they were waiting to get the right answer. He let out a selfish laugh as he shrugged.

"I really don't know the answer to that Helena. I'm actually still waiting for my love one to come and pick me up.." He smiled at his words thinking of a blonde, blue eyed girl. He continued his words. "But I know that if your in a relationship, you have to think about being without them, not being with that person. That's what I believe." I smiled at his words. "Those are the most beautiful words I have ever heard." I said as Ray shrugged and blushed a little. "Nah, it was nothing." He said. I shook my head and laughed. "No I take back what I said. I heard Ian Somerhalder say more better things with any words cause of his perfection. " His smile disappeared as he stared at me with a 'really' look. I just did an innocent smile and walked ahead. "Plus I'm still waiting for you to stop being a little sore loser, promise me that you will kiss Layla today." He looked at me with worried eyes. "Fine. Im doing it..I will!" He cheered as he keep getting more confident. I smiled widely and punched his arm as I giggled. "Yea! That's what I like to hear!"

"I think we should really have more times like this. I would like to talk to you more. You know have each other's backs." Ray said as I agreed. "Defiantly! I would really love that!" I said and nodded. "I also just want to say thank you for giving me some advice and telling me about Tyler." I fiddled with my rings as I spoke, he smiled ear to ear. "Same thing goes for you." Cody suddenly barked as he ran, "Hey! Cody!" I yelled as I chased after him. I saw Cody jumping around Carly as the friends she was playing with patted his head and cooed over Cody. Of course before they did this they asked if he bit. "No." I answered then glared down at Cody who was enjoying the attention. Ray finally catches up as he looked between me and Carly and Cody. "Don't ever do that Cody! You scared me!" I rubbed his fur as I bend down to Carly who was already looking at me. "Do you know why Cody ran over here?" I asked her. She smiled ear to ear too, "I was holding this ball in his direction and I was wondering if I can play ball with Cody and the girls." I sighed and looked down thinking. Should I? Or should I not? I mean it wouldn't hurt...
