Chapter 36

I stared in shock at the pregnancy test in my hands. It read + positive. My hands started to shake a little as my eyes widened in shock as my mouth dropped opened. I heard knocking and pounding on the door.

"Helena, hurry up in there I feel sick!" She yelled through the door.

I didn't answer. I was frozen. Still in shock. She was pregnant and she didn't tell anyone.

"Helena-" The door opened as I turned around, the test still in my hands. She looked at me then her eyes trailed down to my hands and she gasped.

"Your-your pregnant?" I whispered at her.

She didn't say anything. She stepped forward slowly as she snatched it away and looked at the test. She gasped again as her mouth flew to her mouth. Small tears trailed down her cheeks.

"No. No. No. It was only one time! It can't be!" She stared at the test in her hands.

"Who is the father?" I asked her. She slowly looked up at me and shook her head.

"I can't-" she threw the test back into the garbage. She looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Please don't tell anyone. I need to decide what I'm gonna do with the baby." She fiddled with her hands.

"We can help you. Tell-"

"No!" She yelled with tears.

I took a step back shocked.

"Don't tell anyone please, I'm begging you Helena." I sighed as my hand placed on top of my head.

"I need time...alone." She took a bottle of pills in her hands before she ran out of the bathroom.

I sat on the toilet as I sighed. My head was in my hands. What the hell just happened?

I walked downstairs after hiding the test and saw my mom and dad talking.

"Hey." I said. They both turned and smiled as they saw me.

"Hey, where's Jen?" Mom asked.

I coughed a little. "Well she wasn't feeling good so she went to her room to relax."

Mom shook her head.

"She's feeling sick for some odd reason. Poor Jen...maybe I should cheer her up." She stood up.

"No, no, no, no, no. No!" I ran to mom and pushed her back in the chair.

She looked at me with wide eyes as dad raised a brow.

"Why did you do that for?"

"Well I wouldn't want my mom getting sick too and I should cheer her up, not you. You need rest!" I nodded my head as she looked at me like I was a unicorn.

"Your sick mom and your getting sicker  more everyday!" I pointed out. Dad nodded.

"She's right Clarissa. You should rest." Thank god for dad...

She looked at dad then me then sighed. "Oh alright. A little sleep wouldn't hurt either." She smiled a little as dad helped her get up.

"I'll make sure your okay." Dad nodded.

I looked at the two of them. They seemed back into there old state. Were they In love...but dad and mom couldn't be in love..again..right?

I shrugged it off as I went to look for Carly. That little girl could take things off my mind for a while. While I was looking at her my phone ringed and said that Tyler wanted to Face Time.
