Chapter 56

I huffed heavily as I gripped onto my book bag. All the whispers, all the stares..why were they even looking at me?

Maybe it's cause of- "OMG, she looks good." I heard whispers. Yep, it's cause of my makeover. I shook my head and keep walking like a boss.

I reached my locker as I opened it and got out my books. I huffed heavily as I heard footsteps coming towards me. Who is it this time?

I turned around but sighed in relief to only see Allie smiling down at me. "I guess your the big news." She said. I shrugged my shoulders casually and started to walk shoulder to shoulder with her. "Wait until your dad sees you!" She smirked as I shook my head, my hair coming down to the side of my face. "Don't worry about it. After all I'm daddy's little girl." I smirked with her and the bell ranged. "I gotta get to class Helena, I'll see you soon." I waved her off as I went into the classroom and took my seating.

I impatiently tapped my pen against the seat for the teacher to come in. I sighed as my hands went through my hair and I played with my hair. I do that's a lot that maybe some people think I have lice! No people! My hair is healthy free no bugs! Plus I just like playing with my hair a lot. The teacher finally came in as he sat on his chair and turned to us. "Good morning class! Since I'm in a good mood I'll let you guys talk for a while but then we have to get to work!" He announced. Everyone cheered as suddenly the room became noisy.

"Here goes hell." I muttered and then saw Tyler come into the room. His eyes lit up as he saw me and his eyes met mine. I quickly looked away as I played like nothing had happened. "Hey." He said huskily. I smiled a little. "Hey."

Jen's P.O.V

I sighed as I walked into the doors and strutted to her room...

I licked my dry lips as I knocked onto the door but then opened it, my sweaty hands gripped onto the door as it creaked open. My head stocked out to see Clarissa looking up at me. "Hey..can I come in?" I asked as I titled my head to the side, my braid swinging. She put down her yogurt. "Sure," she answered. I closed the door as I quickly walked up to her and sat down as she moved so I can have some space. "I'm sorry." I croaked out as I looked down. She pouted a little.

"I know..it was soooo stupid of me to even go there that night but..." I stopped as I got a really good look of her and gaped at her. Her hair was coming off, she was almost bald, her eyes were dull, face emotionless, and her face yelled sick! I bit my lip as I felt my eyes getting watery. I never knew that she looked so bad or she would even get this sick. It's this was cancer was? It this what cancer it? "But..I don't know what I was thinking and I was drunk, I don't remember anything from that night and look at me..I'm now pregnant with a married man twins." I shook my head and bitterly laughed.

Clarissa looked at me with sorrow eyes. "I forgive you. I know what your saying and I know you regret it." I nodded gratefully but my eyes were still on her and her words. "But what are you going to tell his wife Jennifer? Huh?" I flinched at my name. She only calls me that when she's really serious, mad, or upset on me and now she was serious. I didn't like nobody calling me by my name Jennifer. It was either Jenny or Jen."I don't know.. I tried to but Henry didn't let me! I wanted to! I really did but..." I shook my head and shrugged as my shoulders slumped. "I don't know what to do anymore Clarissa." My hands went over to my face and eyes and I sighed heavily.

"I don't know what to do..this is too much for me and I always tell myself everyday that I can do this when I don't even think I can! I'm a mess! Look at me Clarissa! Look at me!" I yelled and sobbed. The sob came out a dry one. I felt arms wrapped around my shoulder and I just sobbed, no tears but pain and stressed. "Look I know it's hard but I'm here to help you. If I can't be..then my daughters are there for you, John..and the people you love." She said. I noticed when she said John's name, she said it with passion and love. She defiantly still loved him.
