Chapter 63

"Oh no." I mumbled as I sighed. "Here I brought his for you!" Mason said as he held up the little yellow flower. My eyes softened as I took it gracefully.

"Awww. He's suck a cutie." Layla said as she pinched his cheeks, he blushed a little.

"I'm- I'm Mason! Helena's my babysitter." He said like he was so happy I was and that he was excited. I smiled down at him. "Yea I am Mas." He smiled at the nickname I gave him. "Hi girls." Chris came up as he smiled at all of us while grabbing Mason's shoulder. They both stared wide at him as Layla did a small quiet gasp. "Helena after school." He said as he raised his brows, I nodded and gave him a thumbs up. "Sure, no thing." He then walked away with his son as Jen walked by his side and got into his car. Layla made low whistle. "He's fine alright!" We all laughed as we pushed her into her car while we drove off Dunkin donuts.

~~

I kinda missed you hell." I mumbled as I stared at our school then I laughed to myself. "Who am I kidding, I don't at all."

I got out as I saw Kayla still with a piece of her donut in her mouth. We rolled her eyes at her as Layla started talking to is about the prom. "I'm thinking of wearing a strapless dress that's a light pink lace color with the outline black. I mean should I? I already saw it at a store I was shopping at the other day." She started blabbering as me and Kayla just continued to drink our ice coffee. "I'm serious here guys! Prom is coming in a couple of months now and I don't know what I wear! I mean Ray would like the dress." She shrugged as we all walked into hell. I nodded imagining Layla with the dress. "You should! I mean I think it would look great plus you even said Ray would like it." Kayla agreed she stuffed down another piece. She smiled and nodded to herself. "Good, that's what I'll wear then." She then turned to us, looking at us up and down. "I think Kayla would look good in a short dress that comes black with diamonds on it then on the bottom of the dress, it's greenish. Helena would look so beautiful in a long blue dress that fits her curves right!" Layla said as she took deep big breaths.

"I gotta write all these stuff down! Do you know how important this is to me! To us!" She started telling as everyone looked at us. I held her shoulders, "it's not even gonna be prom yet and your already worrying. Relax!" She sighed, her face into my neck and she played with my hair.

"Your-your a really nice friend...and have nice hair that smells like heaven." She mumbled as Kayla stared at us. "Are you on your period?" She questioned as Layla was about to answer but Felix came up to us. Layla got out of my neck as we all smiled at him. "Hey ladies." He greeted us but he looked down, not happy like he always was.

We all looked at him weirdly. "What's wrong Felix?" I asked as he sighed and shook his head. "Is it your boyfriend?" Layla asked as he shook his head. "No."

"Then what happened?" We all asked. He bit his pink lips as he stared at the floor. "I'm mad. My grandpa died yesterday at night and I just found out this morning by my mother. I just wish that I could of told him the words I wanted to say before..he past away." I frowned as I touched my ring, mom. I knew what he was dealing with right now and I hated feeling.

"That's horrible Felix." Kayla said as she gasp. Layla nodded, I stepped up and hugged him.

"Just know that your grandpa is watching you now and he knows the words your saying.

He knows that you feel bad and he knows that you love him, just like he loves you. Listen to me, you won't be yourself again nor tomorrow nor the next but, It will get better in the future. I promise you that." I said as I pulled away from him. His lips made a slight smile before he started smiling more wider. "Thanks Helena. It's nice hearing that from you, specially the mom thing." He said sadly as he looked at me with sympathy eyes. I just nodded stiff, hating the sympathy. The girls smiled at both of us as I ruffled his hair. "Besides you got us buddy!" Right when I said that Layla look towards her locker seeing Ray. "Sorry Felix about what happened but I gotta go!" She said quickly but before looking at Felix and hugging him. Kayla rolled her eyes as she huffed out heavily. "I'll better go to before this woman goes crazy and all." She then patted his chest as she gave me a smile. "I hope you feel better." I said as he smiled and nodded. "Remember, I won't be good today nor tomorrow nor the next but I will be okay I'm the future." I bit my lip from keeping my wide smile. "Let's go to class." I smiled as I walked side by side with Felix as the bell rang. I wondered where Tyler was anyway.
